    Hi Ben

    Just to confirm – no more issues with pages not displaying on the site today.

    Thanks very much for your help!

    Kevin,

    It looks like the problem is tied into the Mailchimp for WP plug-in.

    I’m trying to include a signup form in the site footer using the shortcode generated by the plug-in, but it’s messing up the formatting on the blog posts.

    Any idea how to address it, or if not, an alternative solution for the mailchimp signup?

    Thanks,
    Dean

    Thanks for your quick reply.
    No change after doing that.
    I can’t turn off Black Studio TinyMCE Widget, Page Builder by Site Origin, or Site Origin Widgets Bundle at this time because the site is live and built on them, but otherwise all plugins tested, to no avail.

    ok, you want active link not visited link.

    Here is the css:

     .sidebar .product-categories li.current-cat > a {
         background:black;
         color: #dd3333;
     }
     .sidebar .product-categories li a {
         padding:5px;
     }
     .sidebar .product-categories {
       margin:0;
     }

    By default (save ink movement in browsers) all backgrounds are removed. Your logo is white which is why it’s not visible because the background is removed. This is not a theme thing, it’s a browser thing.

    If you click on your settings on the print popup window you can check the box to enable backgrounds.

    If you think your site is going to be printed a lot then I would suggest adding styling specifically for printers that will also keep the background from needing to be printed for things to be visible since most people will not turn on backgrounds to print.

    For example css like this:

    @media print {
    .titleclass {
    background:#fff !important;
    }
    .titleclass .entry-title, .titleclass h1 {
    color:#444 !important;
    }
    #kad-header-menu {
        display: block !important;
    }
    #kad-mobile-banner {
        display: none !important;
    }
    .nav-main ul.sf-menu > li > a {
        color: #000 !important;
    }
    .kt-header-position-above #logo a img {
        display:none;
    }
    .kt-header-position-above #logo a:before {
        content: 'Gasthof-Hotel zur Post';
        font-size: 20px;
        color: #000;
    }
    .kad-center-header {
        float: left;
        display:block;
        width:60%;
    }
    .kad-header-menu-inner.container {
        width:100%;
        max-width:100%;
    }
    .kad-header-flex {
        display:block;
    }
    .kt-header-flex-item {
        float: left;
        width:20%;
        display:block;
    }
    }

    Hi,
    I’m having a strange issue with the footer/page bottom on phones only.
    Site:
    theme: ascend premium 1.4.2

    Can’t scroll to the bottom of the site on a phone (android) when held upright (portrait).
    If I rotate the phone to landscape (sideways) then I can get to the bottom, but not when holding it normally.
    It just sticks and bounces back up. Can’t see the 3rd column footer widget or the footercredits.
    If I remove all the footer wigdets, the problem still exists. Then I can’t scroll past the bottom of the page.

    It’s fine on everywhere else – tablet, laptop with browser at all screen sizes.
    I don’t know if this is happening on any other type of phone but have checked on Samsung Galaxy S7 & S8 and both are the same.

    Completely stumped as this problem isn’t happening on any other site I have using Ascend.

    Good morning KT Team-

    Style 1 seems to be the default option when I select this shortcode, but I’d like to work with the 2nd option you display in your general theme info site. Are there settings built in to choose this option, or do I need to specifically style with CSS to accomplish this?

    Many thanks,
    Sara

    Hi Rene,
    What is the page that you’re getting the error on? Is it showing only in the backend, or is it on the live site as well?

    I love this theme and i am trying to use it on an events site. I have installed a plugin ‘import facebook events’ and everything works fine except for the featured image not showing on the single events page. I have tested everything and its defo a theme issue because the plugin works with a standard WP theme – i know this is technically not your problem – but i wondered if you had any idea where i might look to remedy this. I am committed to using your theme and that import plugin meets my needs. I am only at the early stages of deciding what to use to create the solution i need, so there is no styling or content to lose if code tweaking is necessary.

    Hello,

    Hope someone can help.

    My website was running with no issues, until recently after the last theme update products at no longer showing when I click on the category.

    I have checked to see if this is an issue with woocommerce but they claim that it is not a problem with them.

    Could someone possibly check this out or has anyone else had this issue?

    My website is

    Good morning,

    I build a website for a customer with the Virtue Premium theme and everything was working properly. A few days ago the customer told me that he experienced a strange problem with just one page on his website. When he made some changes and wanted to update that page, he got this http-500 error. Only on that page. I tried the following to solve the problem:

    – I checked the server settings;,but they were all good.
    – I updated the theme, wordpress and every plugin, but that didn’t solve the problem either.
    – I deactivated the plugins and than found out that Woocommerce was causing the problem. With Woocommerce deactivated, i didn’t get the http-500 error when updating that specific page.

    Obviously Woocommerce has to be activated in order for my customer to use his website the way he wants. Can you help me solve this?

    I’m looking forward hearing from you

    I’m not aware of a plugin but if you use dropbox then you can do that exact thing in your dropbox or some other file sharing just not on your site.

    Hi – I don’t like how my images have been cropped down automatically and instead want to use custom thumbnails I created instead. How can I use these? I don’t see an area in the media library where I could change the thumbnail. My site is omardavisdesigncom. If you click on any of the categories on the front page, you’ll see how all my samples have been cropped down and I’d rather use thumbnails I made where you can see the whole image. Can someone help me figure this out? Thank you! 🙂

    Is there a drop box or plug in so that my photographers can go to the site, click the drop box icon and open up the plug in to drop in their pictures to the magazine editor? So we don’t have to send over the pictures in an email a few at a time?
