    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing back.

    You can put each block inside a Section block and select Horizontal for the Inner Block Direction setting.

    You can then select Start (left), Center, or End (right) in the Justify Content setting.

    Here’s a video for your guide: https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGu67Bez

    Then remove the media query custom CSS you use.

    You can also customize footer widgets in Appearance > Widgets, so you can have a larger view of the settings.

    Let me know how I can help further.

    Best,
    Chito

    Hey there,

    Thanks for the video.

    When a Gutenberg Image block is added in the footer area, the widget itself has “widget_media_image” class name. That class name is essential for the alignment – see sample code:

    .footer-widget-area.content-align-right .widget_media_image img {
        margin: 0 0 0 auto;
    }

    However, if a Kadence Advanced Image is added in the footer area, it does not have the same class name; hence the styles don’t apply to it.

    The alignment setting from the Toolbar is working on my test site – here’s a video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uvW0el

    Please try applying left or right alignment and check it on the frontend.

    It also works in the Icon List block – here’s a video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/E0uLowoY

    Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Best,
    Chito

    Hi There,

    I have checked your website https://trackacourier.com/vcargo-worldwide-tracking/, and you are currently using the GeneratePress theme.

    In Kadence theme, you can place the logo and navigation widgets in the middle column. You can also put them both in the middle column of two different header rows.

    Let us know how we can help further.

    Kind regards,
    Archita

    Hi there!

    Here are the steps that you can follow:

    1. Go to Customizer > Footer
    2. Click the settings icon for the widget where the specific text was added
    3. For the Content Align option, click the icon for mobile
    4. Click the center alignment

    Here’s a screen recording – https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0uJ70PD.

    For the second issue, this is what I saw for the homepage of the template demo – https://share.getcloudapp.com/7KuWArAz. Here’s the URL – https://startertemplatecloud.com/g58/.

    Please could you send us the exact page?

    Kind regards,
    Karla

    Hi there!

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    There’s no option to set the content alignment for all the contents/blocks/widgets inside a footer row. The alignments should be set within each footer item’s settings – https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruenwX8.

    If you’re having alignment issues with your footer rows, could you send us the page URL so we can inspect the page of its styles? You can mark your reply as private here so only you and the support team can see the URL.

    “I found a defect in the template. On the main page at the bottom, the “Newsletter” block. At a resolution of 1024 – 768, the layout breaks down (screenshot 2).”
    I didn’t see the Newsletter section – https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0uJ7xD5. Could you confirm the exact page where we can see it?

    If that’s a block inside a page content on your website, double-check your spacing settings (Padding/Margin) for mobile views. It seems like the section is too narrow which is why the texts are showing like that.

    Let us know how we can help you further.

    Kind regards,
    Karla

    Hi,
    In the Starter Templates there is a “Painting Service” template. It’s about the footer. For tablets and phones, the footer is centered in the middle. What setting does this? I can go into each widget and center the elements separately. But here it’s done differently…

    ps By the way, I found a defect in the template. On the main page at the bottom, the “Newsletter” block. At a resolution of 1024 – 768, the layout breaks down (screenshot 2).

    Hi Archita

    I am using the filter plugin at https://woobewoo.com/documentation/how-can-i-display-a-product-filter-on-my-store-page/

    Have got it working https://staging-blinds4bifoldscouk-b4bstaging.kinsta.cloud/product-category/cream-blinds/ – I used the widget area and entered the filter shortcode to get it to work.

    A couple of things though, the default Woocommerce product template seems to overwrite the custom template when filtering (see the buttons change). How do I fix this?

    Also how do I make the mobile slide in filter menu appear on mobile rather then above or below products?

    I have also asked the filter authors the same questions as not sure where the issue lies?

    #284259

    I am using the Kadence theme in conjunction with Woo Products widget from the Premium Add Ons Plugin for Elementor to display the products grid.
    The problem is I am having two additional unwanted characters appearing on the button as per the attached image. If I switch to another theme such as Hello, Astra or Shopstore the problem dissapears. I am not sure why is it triggered when using Kadence and if there is a way to rectify it.

    Thank you

    Thank you for your reply, Chito.

    I don’t use the Site Logo widget, but an Kadence Advanced Image, with dynamic content. From the dropdown list I choose the site logo image (cf. screenshot).

    But I understood that my request can not be solved this way.

    Best regards, Catherine

    Hello Catherine,

    Thanks for writing in!

    The Dark Mode Header Logo is an option only for the header area.

    Are you using the Site Logo widget? If so, this is a widget from WordPress and is not dynamic.

    You can submit a feature request for a dynamic site logo for Kadence Blocks here: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/feature-requests/

    Hi There,

    There is no option to use the widget in the header area with the Free Kadence theme. Kadence Pro lets you show widgets in the header. https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/premium/

    I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please let us know; we’ll be happy to help.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the link. However, I didn’t see the menu in the footer. Here’s a video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/wbuLegoq

    Can you please re-add it, so we can see it, or tell us which widget you are using?

    Hi, Jonathan!

    You’re somehow correct. The “.site-footer .widget_text” is what we call the CSS selectors. This specifies which HTML element or object you want to style. The “margin-bottom” is what we call a CSS property, used to style attributes of an element. To learn more about CSS, you can go to this page – https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_selectors.asp.

    “I am also curious how to adjust the color of the widget titles, like change “Usual Info” “Legal Info” “Support Info” and “Blog Subjects”, to match the blue I use for branding colors.”

    I inspected your page and saw that you are using Advanced Text blocks for those titles. What you can do is go to those blocks’ settings and select the color you want to use.

    Otherwise, the widget titles of the footer rows have their own style settings. Those settings can be seen inside each footer row’s settings.

    Watch this screen recording – https://share.getcloudapp.com/geuPYB6v.

    I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Hey, we’re in the process of recreating a new acquired company’s website in Kadence (Pro/3.0.41 etc. all latest).

    Everything is done, ready to go and all, besides the Blog posts. I just opened their Blog section, and there’s 1,187 different posts. Kill me.

    Normally, I have to redo the template of the Blog/Posts section to make it better, and only Kadence-based (no WordPress-native blocks, or old Elementor stuff etc.)

    The issue is that I’ve been doing it all manually, copy/pasting the content from the old site to the new ones, as it never bothered me with only a few dozen pages to do. I could hammer it all out in a weekend at most, but this would be downright foolish to try with 1,187 posts.

    I know I can import Posts via plugins and such, but I want to specifically import it all into the new website Post page format/template I made. Is there a way for me to import all these posts, in a way which will:

    – Retain all the old content & content formatting (Bolding, italics, bullet lists, alignment etc.)
    – Put it all into the Kadence Block -equivalents
    – Respect my settings for the posts page I made in the customizer (so all the Sidebar widgets, Post page layouts etc.)

    I know this is probably unlikely, but I have to do something to get them all transferred over. Should I just import them as-is and just transition to the new Post design & Kadence blocks going forward?

    What’s my best course of action here, given the limitations of the available solutions?

    Thanks!

    Those two tips helped immensely. So I understand the CSS correctly, “.site-footer” refers to location on the website, “.widget_text” is a object identifier, and “margin-bottom: 10px” refers to the thing that is being adjusted correct?

    Kind of like telling which direction to go to apply that CSS, am I right?

    I am also curious how to adjust the color of the widget titles, like change “Usual Info” “Legal Info” “Support Info” and “Blog Subjects”, to match the blue I use for branding colors.

    Hi Jonathan,

    You can add this Custom CSS:

    .site-footer .widget_text > p {
        margin: 0;
    }

    .site-footer .widget_text {
        margin-bottom: 10px;
    }

    Just adjust the margin-bottom: 10px; to your liking.

    Hey there!

    Kindly open a new topic for your inquiry. Also, kindly make sure that you’re adding it to the correct forum. Your website is using the Kadence theme but this topic is posted under the Virtue theme.

    On the theme doesn’t have filter widgets, the WooCommerce plugin is the one that adds those. First, you’ll need to make sure that you are using a sidebar layout for your WooCommerce pages like the shop, category, and tag archives:

    1. Go to Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Catalog
    2. Select either Left Sidebar or Right Sidebar for the layout
    3. Add the widgets to the sidebar selected.

    Here’s a video for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/7KuW2Pek.

    Since your desired filter is not available, you may want to use a third-party WooCommerce filter plugin to improve your customer’s filter results.

    I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

    Regards,
    Karla

    Thank you for providing the tips, that solve the initial issue. Next I want to reduce the whitespace between each linked page similar to what one of your staff has done in your footer to tidy it up. I don’t mind a little css for this, just no sure where to put it in either the widget editor nor row editor for the footer. Or if it is a simple paragraph spacing trick.
