My client has asked this: When you look at the member home page and reduce the size of the screen any words don’t scale but wrap onto a separate line. Is there any way to scale the words when the screen size is reduced so you don’t see the words wrap onto a second line that looks kind of funny?
I am assuming he is talking about the use of heading size on text within column blocks and paragraphs. Your input appreciated. I would tell him that wrapping is an important part of Gutenberg layout management, particularly depending on which browser they are using and their computer’s screen setup, which I have no control over. There is also sometimes a difference between a PC and Mac.
Anything I am missing here? Or is there a way to scale texts within the blocks to prevent wrapping?
PS One possible solution may be to reduce width of sidebar widgets. That should give more room for some of the text he is referring to in column blocks.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Kadence Simple Social Share – No Instagram
Hey Ben,
Please don’t lose my point – all I’m asking for is an Instagram link within KT Share – does that make sense? It doesn’t matter one bit if you can share or not, it’s a convenient and sensible location to help promote a websites Instagram account, nobody cares if KT Share has a field for a non sharing Instagram link, but if it does, your customers will use it. You know as well as anyone that the majority of sharing plugins are heavy with code and why KT Share is perfect for most of us, it also allows for style consistency throughout the theme, that’s a good a thing.
Widgets and the Topbar setting icons are great but don’t stand out – if you are not using a sidebar the widget is of little use.
KT Share does not have to be a strictly share only plugin – Instagram is a perfect exception and a missed opportunity to help allow customers to promote their Instagram without using a bloated sharing/social linking whatever you want to call it plugin – I cant see how anyone would complain if you added a link option. You built in plenty of flexibility throughout the theme – please consider tweaking KT Share – “please”.
Also – KT Share displays much better on mobile devices than widgets or top bar icons – just stick a link option in there for IG.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi guys,
I have an accordion widget but when you open some of them direct the page to the bottom instead of where the content is.
You can check on *Login to see link
Microneedling item is one of them with this issue.

February 14, 2019 at 11:51 pm #216655Hey,
So the widget title area gets sanitized of code when getting saved in the database. The workaround would be to add your title area into the content using the
<h2>tags.Currently there isn’t an option to control the speed. But I do plan to update that to a css animation so it’s easy to override.

February 14, 2019 at 11:20 pm #216647Hey Josh,
You can’t “share” to Instagram. If you could share a site then I would add that to the simple sharing plugin.
If you would like to “link” to an Instagram account then you would use a social linking widget. Sharing is totally different than linking. Your sharing buttons don’t link to your fecebook, they create a post of the user to share on their own account about your webpage.
Does that make sense? We are not using sharing buttons in our footer. Those are social profile links.

February 14, 2019 at 10:56 pm #216638Elementor can’t be placed inside a widget like that. You can do this with templates through Elementor pro or an elementor add on. You might try this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/anywhere-elementor/

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Mobile Responsive Pages
AnonymousFebruary 14, 2019 at 2:10 pm #216594Hi there,
I just designed two pages that look great on my laptop, but when I test them on mobile, they look terrible:
Do you have advice on how to change the settings of the first row with a “call to action” widget at the top of these pages, so that they display well on mobile?
Thank you in advance!
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Breadcrumbs and other questions
Great!!
1. Perfect!
2. Perfect!
3. OK 🙂Ow and this question was also in my first post:
On the right side I have a widget with recent posts. I would like to have a bordercolor around it just like the box with the main info on the page (but without the shadow). Just a simple border with the color #459686
New question:
Is there a way to make these breadcrumbs a bit more visible and attractive? For example like this page:
https://imu.nl/internet-marketing-kennisbank/begrippen/In that page they look more user friendly and nice that the page you are on is highlighted with a blue color.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
Working on a new page: *Login to see link
I have a few things I would like to change.
1. I would like to have the breadcrumbs just above the block with all the info. Check the image below for the location in red.
Behind every info icon there is a subject. Al those subjects are going to link to other pages with the same layout. Now, there is only one example: the first link. As you can see it is the same layout and also on these pages I would like to have the breadcrumbs on the left side above the main block.
I also added the following CSS to change the font-size for the breaadcrumbs on all pages. But somehow it doesn’t affect this page link…
#kadbreadcrumbs {
font-size: 14px;
}2. On the right side I have a widget with recent posts. I would like to have a bordercolor around it just like the box with the main info on the page (but without the shadow). Just a simple border with the color #459686
3. I added a facebook i frame in the top right corner. Is it preferred to use the script instead or doesn’t it matter which one I use?
Got the code from this link:

I just tested editing your “about” page with elementor. I was able to drag widgets into the page without issue. Can you try that page, try dragging a heading widget into the page and let me know what you see.Ben
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Testimonials – 3 of 4 shown
Hey Jerry,
Looks like you are only actually adding 3 testimonials to your Testimonials section in the theme (from your wp admin panel > testimonials). That is what the testimonial widget pulls from. So you just need to add your 4th testimonial there.
Hope that helps!Hannah

February 12, 2019 at 4:45 pm #216386Can you send a login,
I am assuming you’ve set the “Number of posts to show” to be more than three in the widget settings so I will need to see your setup to understand more.

I have a Testimonal page – *Login to see link – with 4 testimonials. I am using the testimonial widget in Footer 1. Only 3 of the 4 testimonials appear in the widget slider.
Thanks for your help.

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Sidebar above the content
Hello,
There isn’t really a way to do this in the theme options. If you need the filter options to show on top in mobile, one option that may work for you would be to add the filter widget to your page content, and then hide it on desktop with some CSS.
Would that work for you?

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Ascend Recent Posts spacing
February 11, 2019 at 4:24 pm #216268The ascend recent posts widget is designed to have a max width of 420px. This is because of the size of the image output. It’s truly designed to be a sidebar or smaller column widget. You can use this css to force the max width change:
.kadence_recent_posts { max-width: 100%; }I suggest if you are wanting huge columns to be filled with posts to consider using a shortcode to output the posts. Or the Kadence Blocks Pro – Post Grid/Carousel block.
