Hey so for the shortcodes in elementor make sure to use the elementor shortcode widget, that will give you live previews.

I can’t recreate an error. You shouldn’t be using that template in the post loop widget from site origin but that is only because it’s designed to animate in so if you do use it you need to turn off animate in, in the theme options > misc settings. But still, that doesn’t have any effect on how many posts show. And just FYI I would suggest using the content.php template.

There’s a list of the available blocks in each plugin’s page. Take a look at the list and hopefully the blocks you’re looking for are available. Also note that they are not exactly the same as their respective widgets, so configuring them is going to be a bit different.

Currently, not all of the widgets previously available are usable with the new editor. We do offer some plugins that add some additional blocks though.

The settings for the kadence button shortcode and the primary buttons shown within certain widgets should be the same by default. Both fonts should pull from your body font and the background color should pull from your primary color. When adding the button via shortcode are you setting these settings to default? I dropped three Kadence button shortcodes [btn] into a standard text layout, and the default button height is taller than the default buttons in Kadence split content and call to action, and the font is different. Am I doing something wrong?My guess is that I am going to be using more [btn] shortcodes on the site, and it would be great to not have to change the height in css each time. What’s the best way to do this? I am guessing that the widgets have a set format (font size and padding?) that I need to match with [btn].

Please could you help with some CSS for this site?On pages like this for screenwidths below 420px, I have my Woocommerce buttons “Go to Order” & “Checkout” crashing my Testimonial slider in a “Above Footer” widget.
I have tried to enforce a margin-top, but this has had no effect on the problem. Here’s the code:

Hey,
1. Create a page and set the page template to blog. Then, once the page has refreshed, you should see a Blog Options tab. From there you can select “Grid with first post as standard” from the Post output style dropdown. Then, under your Page Title and Subtitle tab you can upload an image and add a title and subtitle. No need to use Canva.
2. Yes, just set the Post output style ti Photo and the number of columns to 3.
3. Which editor are you using? Or are you using a page builder? You can add a call to action widget on top of any image background (if using a page builder plugin this is easy).
4. Do you mean the demos? You can open the image in a new tab by right clicking then save the image. Or you can find tons of free stock photos here: https://unsplash.com/

I’m trying to update the h1 tag to reflect the “biryani” font. As suggested in the above support topic, I tried updating the CSS in Advanced Settings > Custom CSS, but I couldn’t get it to work.

A quick update. In Elementor, a shortcode for TablePress in a text editor widget is not showing the table. It shows [table id=1 /], but page works correctly online.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this related to Elementor not displaying the Virtue split content widget?

One other thing. When I open the widget, it always unchecks the “Force image to cover whole area” so that I have to re-check it.

I am using elementor and split content, and the widget is blank in the elementor display field. The widget editing field works, and if I go to the page I am editing live on the internet, the content appears. But the elementor display is blank white, and it stays blank when I click the red left/right arrow to display the whole page. So interactive editing doesn’t work.
Virtual call-to-action does work.
I turned off my content block for the site.
Any ideas?

There isn’t a built-in function for this, but a workaround would be to use a sidebar template, then use a page builder plugin to create a long side column with widgets added so it looks like a sidebar. Would that work for you?Hannah
