    In the CSS, just change the blue or red to whatever color you like.

    .siteorigin-widget-tinymce.textwidget h2 a span {
        color: #0078c1 !important;
    }

    .siteorigin-widget-tinymce.textwidget h2 a span:hover {
        color: #f39928 !important;
    }

    Hopefully that works for you!

    Hey,

    In the widget setting, you should be able to set the animation in the side under “widget styles.”

    Does that work for you?

    Try adding this CSS to Theme Options> Advanced Settings:

    .siteorigin-widget-tinymce.textwidget h2 a span {
        color: red !important;
    }

    .siteorigin-widget-tinymce.textwidget h2 a span:hover {
        color: blue !important;
    }

    Change the colors to whatever you like and let me know if that works for you.

    Hi! Is it possible to change the animation of the text in the Ascend Image Menu Item Widget? Right now the text is shifting up when you hover, but I would like to have the text stay centered and zoom out like the image does. Is that possible? Here’s a link to the test site…

    A carousel block that will pull in content is on my list, it’s in the works.

    You can use siteorigin pagebuilder to add a layout builder block into Gutenberg then you can still access all the widgets.

    #206289

    Hi Nicky,
    You can use css like the following to customize the placement:

    .headerclass, .mobile-headerclass, .kt-mainnavsticky .sticky-wrapper.is-sticky #nav-main {
        background: url(http://www.exelcouriers.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ezgif.com-optimize.gif) no-repeat 25% 100%;
    }

    Or you can use the header widget area. This can be enabled from Theme Options > Main Settings > Logo Options. Then you can add a widget from Appearance > Widgets.
    Hope that’s helpful!

    Hi There,

    Still getting to grips with Gutenberg and I am determined as I believe everything is achievable I just need to learn the best ways to get the results I’m after and once I have I’m confident it will be quicker and slicker … still go my fingers crossed!

    Anyway to the point there are still some things I’m used to being able to do with a Virtue Premium site that I can’t seem to replicate yet such as getting at the list of shortcodes easily as there was a drop down list in the editor as well as many widgets I could just insert and configure.

    The actual question – I’m trying to install a Testimonial carousel on to the home page and not sure the best way to get there please can you advise, I used to either use the Virtue: Testimonial Carousel or a shortcode.

    Thanks,

    Mark.

    Glad to hear it!
    You can reduce the padding and font size of your menu items with this css:

    .kad-header-style-basic .kad-primary-nav ul.sf-menu>li>a {
        padding: 0 5px;
    }
    .is-sticky .kad-primary-nav ul.sf-menu a, ul.sf-menu a, .none-trans-header .kad-primary-nav ul.sf-menu a {
        font-size: 14px;
    }

    As for the phone number, Pinnacle theme doesn’t have a buit-in function for this. But you could add the number to a widget area in your topbar then use css to adjust it as you’re wanting. Would that work for you?

    Hi Ben:

    I granted support access.

    I placed shortcode into the Home Extras Widget Area via a text widget. Shows blank.

    Thank you for the help,
    Loren

    A text widget is fine for the shortcode. once you have it in and your site is accessible I would be happy to help get it showing correctly.

    Hi Loren,
    I’m getting a fatal error when visiting your site. Looks like the allotted memory size has been reached. You should contact your host and have them increase your php memory settings. It’s possible that that is also playing a role in your slider not displaying when adding a shortcode to a text widget.

    Hi Ben:

    I did try adding a slider using shortcode and text widget. Nothing appeared. Using the Ascend Carousel or Ascend Gallery widgets did not work for me either. I am stuck for a method to set a slider into the Home Extras Widget Area for you to review. What method, tool, or widget would you use?

    Hey James,
    1. Something like 2000x1600px should work well for full-width images. Check out this post: https://www.kadencewp.com/best-practices-for-images-sizes-and-optimization-in-wordpress/

    2. You can add top and bottom padding to your page builder row where you’re adding the widget.

    Hope that’s helpful!

    Hi Hannah,

    Would like to know if there’s a way to replace just the “building” icon in company name section of contact/vcard widget with my company logo instead?

    #206181

    Hey guys,

    Two part question.

    1. I am using the Virtue call-to-action widget from the demo in two places on my homepage, just re-writing the text and changing the image; it looks good! What is the optimal image size and file size for the background image in Row, Design? I am trying to work out how the image size works in the call-to-action widget, and I would like the site to load as quickly and will use a smaller image if I can.

    2. Is there an easy way of making the image a little taller using the standard call-to-action widget?

    Thanks for your help!

    #206158

    Hey,
    You can add a slider into the home widget area. It’s just not really meant to take a slider so you may need to update some css. Post a link with a slider added there and I can take a look.

    Thank you Ben:

    That would be to have banners in the header area on the Home Page via Home Page Header settings? Or is there another option you were thinking about?

    I was looking for a solution that would appear on all pages. For instance, Home Extras Widget Area. I tried using a Text widget with the Kadence slider shortcode and it did not work.

    Appreciate your help!

    Hello Support,

    I am using WordPress 4.9.8 with Virtue – Premium version 3.9.4 for my site and am having an issue trying to display a sidebar on the Home Page. In the Main Settings I have turned ON the option to display sidebar on the Home Page. I have also selected ‘Primary Sidebar’ in the ‘Choose a Sidebar for your Home Page’ option. I have added the following Widgets to the Primary Sidebar from the Appearance > Widgets menu

    Search
    Recent Posts
    Categories
    Archives

    When i create a new test page I can see the sidebar, however the sidebar is still not showing on my Home Page. Please could you assist as I have checked all of my settings and still don’t seem to be able to get it working.

    Kind regards,

    Neil

    Hey,
    So your issue was caused by a widget in this plugin: SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle

    I turned off the widget in your plugin settings. It was the “Layout Slider” widget.

    Likly the plugin authors will have a fix out soon.

    Ben
