In reply to: WooCommerce category widget not showing
Hi there!
WooCommerce filters will only show on pages that list products (product archive pages). They cannot filter other posts.
Also, the sidebar layout should be set in Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Catalog. This is where you’ll adjust the layout settings for the WooCommerce archive pages (shop, product categories, product tags). Could you select the sidebar layout here and add the filter widgets to the sidebar area you choose?
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.
Kind regards,

January 30, 2023 at 11:26 am #281950Hi,
Starter template > Greenthumb. Widget is showing only on woocommerce shop page, but when I try to use on archive/category page nothing is showing.
In forum: Membership ForumsJanuary 26, 2023 at 7:23 am #281918Hi,
I wondering, what is the easiest way to add widget (filter) on category page. I try to do that in Post/Page/Archive layout/ but nothing is showing off, when I switch to page with sidebar. Is there any solution for that? I don’t want to add another plugin, but if necessary I will..Can anyone guide me, how to do that please.
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Community,
I attached a screenshot of the top bar with arrows point left or right. Please see the attachment.
Can someone please provide me step-by-step instruction on how to make a product search bar align right or left on the top bar, shown in the attached image?
Do I need to add custom CSS under customizing, widget, top bar widget,
block setting and additional CSS?Can someone please provide the CSS needed to make the search bar alignment to either right or left, and make a product search bar with the same size as other elements on the top bar?
Thank you,
Will
In forum: Kadence ThemeAnonymousJanuary 10, 2023 at 4:34 am #281704Dear Kadence Team,
We are faicing the issue with Kadence free theme and Elementor Pro, with a basic function like anchor widget. I added the anchor widget from elementor to the theme, when i click the link word or button the achor works and directs me to the place where it should, however the theme creates an extra url (please see video *Login to see link ) and for example when you refresh the page it will jump again to the achor section.
We have contacted the Elementor support team first and they back tu us with this:
“After I disabled all 3rd party plugins besides Elementor, and Elementor pro and switched the theme to the Hello Elementor, the issue disappeared. Please check the following loom I made for you.
Please check the test page I made for you: *Login to see link
You should click on the red button.
In this case, as we have no control over coding for third-party plugins or themes, we highly recommend that you report this issue to the support team for this theme Kadence so they may further troubleshoot and provide any recommendation (or possible fix) to resolve this issue.”
Here is the primary website where the issu occures:
Here is the website where the issu was fixed by elementor, so no kadence theme instaled:
And we have created as well our test website without Kadence theme, and with Hello Elementor theme, no 3rd party plugins and works perfectly.
So the theme is causing the issue for sure. Any help would be appriciated, this is so basic fuction that we do no want tu use for it 3rd party plugins as it is only anchor. We are not realy techical people but we will follow your guidance.
Looking forward to hear from you soon.
Thanks, Lukasz
In forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: discord icon missing
When working in a “social icons” widget in the header or footer editor, there is a Discord icon available. However if you’re working in the page editor and add a “social icons” block, there is not a Discort icon available. Why is that? I’d really recommend adding this soon. Discord is increasingly one of the top social forums for businesses and creators.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: How to add subscribe us button on the sidebar?
January 5, 2023 at 6:23 am #281641Hi there,
You can add a Kadence Form block in Appearance > Widgets.
To make it appear only in the sidebar of Single Posts, place it inside a Row Layout block and apply conditional display. This should be the settings: https://share.getcloudapp.com/geuOdwq0
To have conditional display setting in Kadence Blocks, you will need the Kadence Blocks Pro plugin:

ChitoIn forum: Virtue ThemeJanuary 4, 2023 at 10:33 pm #281622Hi Lorraine,
Glad to hear it’s working now on your site.
You don’t need to create another script if you want to use multiple buttons, and we only need to add a piece of code to the existing one.
Change the querySelector from the code and make it querySelectorAll.
The script should work on all buttons with widget-toggle-menu class name.
Let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,
ChitoIn forum: Virtue ThemeDoes it only work with one button per page? I tried doing the exact same thing to a second button, but now only the 1st button is working to trigger the widget toggle menu. I even duplicated the Advanced Button block of the working button, confirmed there is nothing different between the two and that both have the same “widget-toggle-menu” Additional CSS Class, and yet only the first one works.
If I switch the order of the two advanced buttons, and the duplicated one is the first one that is on the page, then it becomes the only working one, so I assume I have to create a 2nd Custom script for if there is more than one button on a page which needs to trigger it. Is there a better way to do this?
In forum: Virtue ThemeI have no idea why it wasn’t working – maybe it was because I put the code in Custom Scripts under the header section, and then the “Right after opening body tag” section, but moving it to the Footer section made it magically work!
I also noticed I had the “widget-toggle-menu” Additional CSS class both under the main button area you put it in the video, and also in the Advanced section as well, and I removed it from the advanced section before testing to see if it worked. So it could be the double entry in Additional CSS Classes that I had which caused the issue as well
Thanks so much!
In forum: Membership ForumsHi there!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Kindly open a new topic for new support inquiries in the future.
Visibility Settings
These settings are only available in our blocks, specifically the Row Layout and Section blocks. If you want to hide some widget contents, you can use the Row Layout block. Add the widget content/items inside it.
Button to trigger toggle menu
Could you confirm if it is the mobile menu off-canvas area or if it is the Toggle Widget Area that you want to open?
Line Spacing
Could you give us a page URL so we can inspect which blocks are you using for those texts? By default, each block has bottom margins to ensure that they are spaces in between them.
If you’re using Paragraph blocks, you can click the Shift + Enter keys on your keyboard so the texts will have single spacing. See this post for reference – https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-single-double-line-spacing-in-wordpress/.
Also wanted to show that the built-in Line Height setting had 0 effect on it, both in the customizer preview and in the actual site itself
Which block are you using there? Please could you send a screen recording so we can better replicate the issue? You can use CloudApp for capturing screencasts.
Let us know how we can assist you further.
Regards,
KarlaIn forum: Virtue ThemeIs there a way to do this with the Toggle Widget Area, and using an Advanced Button instead of a fixed element icon in the footer?
I tried doing this with the following CSS:
Advanced Button Additional CSS Class: widget-toggle-menu
Custom Code: https://ibb.co/PzLjqg4
I found that the Button ID for the Toggle Widget Area in Inspect was called ‘widget-toggle’ and instead of ‘mobile-toggle’ as shown for the mobile menu version in the above video Chito shared, so I swapped that out, and then changed the Additional CSS Class + corresponding name in the aboce script from ‘mobile-toggle-menu’ to ‘widget-toggle-menu’, but placing the code in either the header nor the script after opening body would make it work
When clicked, the button just acts as a return-to-top-of-page type of trigger, and that is it. Any idea what I should do to make this work on any button I set with the Additional CSS Class in the content of a page, and with the Toggle Menu Widget rather than the Mobile Menu?
In forum: Membership ForumsPerfect Kara – really appreciate the response over the holidays!
The one thing that wasn’t fixed was the mobile visibility issue with the Footer – I already make use of the Visibility settings on mobile for normal blocks, but the visibility setting options are absent from the Footer blocks/widgets
Is there a way to toggle visibility of footer blocks/widgets, so I can hide the less important ones to keep the length of the footer reasonable?
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Why my sticky sidebar has a scroll bar?
Hi, Tomislav!
The sticky sidebar itself will still work if you are replacing the sidebar content using the hooked elements. However, if you are referring to the “Only Stick Last Widget” option, then I can confirm that it is not working – https://share.getcloudapp.com/8LugoNZn
The reason why this happens is that the CSS style for the last widget area targets CSS classes that only WordPress widgets use. This is the selector for the last widget item –
.has-sticky-sidebar-widget .primary-sidebar .widget:last-child.Since blocks are used within the hooked elements, they do not have the widget class. What you can do to make it work is add a custom CSS class for each block (“widget”) in your hooked element. You can find the option for this by going to Block Settings > Advanced. This is how it will work – https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuO7o0J.
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.

Hi, Narisha!
Are you using the Widget area header items to add the links? If so, follow these steps to see them:
- Go to Customizer > Header.
- Click the gear icon for the widget items.
- Change the link styles – https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuO7o9p
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.

KarlaIn forum: Membership ForumsHi lorraine!
Twitter
Yes, we do not have a block to list down tweets like that. I think Twitter has specific layouts for embeds so you might want to see their posts. Or try third-party plugins (e.g. https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-twitter-feeds/) for listing them.
Header/Footer padding
The global padding will be applied to all containers on the website so they’ll have uniform spacing. Could you describe how you want your header and footer container spacings? If you want them full-width, you can select FULLWIDTH on each of their row’s General settings – https://share.getcloudapp.com/llugNWxK.
If you prefer losing the padding entirely for the header and footer even with the FULLWIDTH layout, you will need to need custom CSS code in Customizer > Additional CSS:
.site-header-row-layout-fullwidth>.site-header-row-container-inner>.site-container, .site-footer-row-layout-fullwidth>.site-footer-row-container-inner>.site-container{ padding: 0; }Hide widgets on mobile
Since WordPress now uses blocks for widget areas, you can use our Row Layout block to wrap the content of those widgets. This block has the Visibility Settings (https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApuezmQ9) so you can hide some sections on mobile views.
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further with these points. Otherwise, please open new support topics.

KarlaIn forum: Membership ForumsAnd any way to hide/remove widgets for Mobile/Tablet views? The Footer gets obnoxiously long on mobile especially, is there a way to not display them there?
Apologies for all the questions, I’m trying to make a template for future acquisitions so everything is configured right from the start and I don’t have to worry about fiddling with the customizer much in the future. Let me know if you prefer I make separate posts for other issues
(Also no rush on answering any of this, it’s not holding me back from anything and more importantly, it’s the holidays and you deserve time off)

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Footer Menu Issue
Hi there!
Thanks for sending the website URL.
I saw that you are using a Navigation Menu widget and made it collapsible. This is why the styles are adding bottom borders. If you want to remove those, add this to your Customizer > Additional CSS:
footer .collapse-sub-navigation ul.menu li a { border: none; } footer .collapse-sub-navigation ul.menu .drawer-nav-drop-wrap .drawer-sub-toggle { border: none; }This is how your footer menu will look – https://share.getcloudapp.com/geuOgrw2.
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.
