I’m using the icon flip box widget and placing it in my home widget area. The trouble is each box takes up the full with of the screen. If I add another it puts it below the first. Is there a way I can add these side by side?

Hi … I searched all over to see if there is a way to change the sizes of the fonts in the sidebar without affecting the others.

I found this CSS from Ben on an older post:

.sidebar h3.widget-title {
font-size: 24px;
}

.. but I’m not having luck with it, and it would be only for the title.

I also want to create a little breathing room between the sidebar and the main content column. Is there a way to widen that space a bit?

In your home page you’re adding the loop of post widget and you have it configured incorrectly so it’s running an endless loop that is just causing your page to try and load until it times out. You need to be really careful with the loop of posts widget and if you don’t know what you’re doing I strongly suggest just using a shortcode instead.

You can use this css for “Contact Us”:

Hi guys, I’m hoping you can help. I am wondering how you set the transparency option on a button added to an image on the Kadence slider (as in your demo). I can’t find the option to do this with the button attributes of the slider.
Also, if I have a visual editor on a row (the row having an image background), can I set the transparency (or is it called opacity) of the visual editor component?

I’m guessing this might be done via CSS and hopefully you can help me out with this 😀

Here’s some CSS that will show the thumbnails on that page:

.latest .kadence_recent_posts img, .latest .widget_kadence_recent_posts img {
    display: initial;
}

If you need it to show on any other pages, link them here and I can update the CSS for you.

I believe i can do this by assigning a widget class when that widget is used, but then what is the CSS to identify that widget class and have it not display images?

E.g. i have assigned the widget class ‘nothumb’ to the widget showing news on the home page – how do i change the CSS to say that only that widget and widget class should not show thumbnails, but every other time the widget is thumbnails are shown?

I hope i’m being clear and that my use of widget class is correct. Any support is most welcome, as i said, i have solved most issues in the past just by reading this forum

Didn’t use a plugin. Used Google Calendar code list. But a shortcode for sidebar is not provided. One forum said when using the embed code in a text widget, WordPress is supposed to automatically create a shortcode, but it doesn’t. So, just putting in an image with a calendar link in the sidebar solves the mystery for now. Unless you have other ideas.

I was always wondering why meta links are placed by default on sidebar with wordpress. Please clarify reason before I make widget inactive. I really don’t want them on the sidebar. And if you feel I should have some, please advise which ones, and how remove the others.
