Hello.
I`d like to remove the h-tags from Widget Titles without loosing the typography settings. How is that possible?
Thank you in advance.
In forum: Ascend ThemeI have this category page *Login to see link
At the top I would like to show the carousel widget where I want to show my featured products or best selling products.
How can I achieve this?In forum: Kadence ThemeNovember 29, 2021 at 12:50 pm #269138Hi, in the Kadence theme, how can I hide the Kadence table of contents Gutenberg block on mobile for a post?
I have the TOC and a CTA in the sidebar widget for posts. They look fine on desktop but show up at the bottom of the page on mobile.
So I want to keep the CTA but hide the TOC.
Thanks!
In forum: Kadence ThemeTopic: Footer Link Color
November 24, 2021 at 10:59 am #269077Hello,
I’m using Kadence Theme and Kadence Blocks. Both are the pro versions.I am trying to change the footer link colors in the three text widgets in the footer to white and change to green (#059669) on hover with no underline.
Currently the links are all using the colors set in the customizer.
I only want this to happen in the footer, not throughout the entire site, so I can’t use the customizer. The footer widgets with the links are widget 2, widget 3 and widget 4.
Can anyone help? A screenshot is attached.
In forum: Kadence BlocksHello,
I can see on this page that you’re using the Widget Dock plugin for the sticky popup with the TOC block inside it. The links to headings are not working because the headings themselves do not have the proper ID/HTML anchor.
Here is a screen recording of what Hannah recommended(using a sidebar layout, adding the TOC block, and enabling sticky header) for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAu0zojw.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksNovember 22, 2021 at 11:40 am #269039Hi Hannah,
Thanks for the reply. I managed to get closer to what I want….I created a ToC Element, enabled the Sticky Widget Sidebar and changed to Page Layout setting from Left Sidebar to Full Width. In this config, I get the sticky sidebar containing the Toc on the Left Side. So far so good.
However, now when I press on the ToC items on the left, the page no longer scrolls to the correct item.
Can you help me figure out why the ToC click feature (which was working properly before) no longer works like before? What am I missing? The site/page I am working on is https://staging.bitcoindad.org/glossary/. I am trying to make this page look as much as possible like this page: https://bitcoin.org/en/vocabulary
Thank you very much!!

Hello stefano,
Please make sure you have selected the Sidebar layout in Customizer > Blog Posts > Archive Layout. Additionally, I tried the plugin you mentioned and it works on my end – https://share.getcloudapp.com/geupPg4Z.
If this is not how you want to show the widgets, could you send screenshots so we can better assist you?
Kind Regards,

November 17, 2021 at 6:29 pm #268974Hey,
Unfortunately, you can’t use html in the widget front description text input. That area is sanitized on output (which is why you see the HTML code instead of it rendering).
There isn’t a way to change this behavior as it’s intentional per the design of the widget/shortcode.
There isn’t a workaround using this widget, you would need to code your own through a child theme where you changed the way the input was passed from being an attribute that is sanitized to an unsanitized HTML rendered area.

In forum: Kadence ThemeHello everyone, I would need to display widgets based on the various categories I have created.
I tried for example this Widget Options – Add Context To WordPress Widgets plugin but it doesn’t work.
Do you have any tips or suggestions of other plugins or how to do it? Or if the template has something native to itThanks a lot

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Image menu hovering effects.
Hello Henry,
Thank you for reaching out to us and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
Is it possible to make an image in the image menu widget scale when you hover it? I would like it to scale up just a bit.
There are no built-in options for this but you can adjust them using custom CSS code. Upon checking your page, I can see you already have achieved these effects.
Where does the color overlay come from? I can’t figure out how to adjust that.
The default color overlay is being assigned by the theme skin stylesheet. You can see that by going to Theme Options > Basic Styling >
Theme Skin Stylesheet option. Here is an article regarding basic styling options – https://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/theme-options/basic-styling/.Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

Hello.
Is it possible to make an image in the image menu widget scale when you hover it?I would like it to scale up just a bit.
I was also wondering if you could help me understand what is happening when you hover. Where does the color overlay come from? I can’t figure out how to adjust that.
I have several image menu items in one section, and I would like them to each have a different hover color… Could you tell me how that could be done? Here is my site:

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
You’ve mentioned, “The desired result is displayed on the reverse side“. Please could you send a screenshot of this so we can have a better idea of how it looks like on your end?
The Description option of the Ascend: Icon Flip Box widget should only accept plain text, not HTML. You can refer to Ben’s reply here.

Hello,
I want to add multiple widgets. All the widgets will go up with scrolling but the last one will remain sticky. No need to have it scroll.
Go to Customizer > General > Sidebar and enable the Only Stick Last Widget option. This should scroll all the other widgets and make the last one sticky – https://share.getcloudapp.com/p9uN8w8y.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

Here is the link. I have disabled the multiple Widgets because of the scrolling effects.

Hi Kevin,
The dev site is all private at the moment however here’s a screen grab of what I’m doing:The content of the widgets is all text (paragraphs).
I’ve been able to change the font colour of the widgets, but not the actual font. There’s a page in your Knowledgebase about ‘customize footer widget titles ascend’ but I’m not sure what that actually refers to.I’ve tried it with a Navigation Menu in the widget too but that gives me even less options. It’s all a bit confusing, TBH, especially as I’m not that familiar with Gutenberg.
Thank you

In forum: Kadence ThemeOctober 30, 2021 at 5:56 pm #268768Sure, I can at least try to explain what I did 🙂
I added the Fibosearch widget, and then I added the kadence header-widget in the center column in the main row.
Then, I did as @Karla mentioned:
First, please put the widget header item in a separate column so the total columns of that header row are 3 – https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQu7gAdE.
Then I added this little bit of “tweeked” CSS from hers.
@media only screen and (min-width: 1024px) { .site-main-header-inner-wrap { grid-template-columns: 430px 43% auto !important; } } .site-header-main-section-center .header-widget-area-inner { width: 100% !important; } .dgwt-wcas-search-wrapp { max-width: 100% !important; } aside.widget-area.site-header-item.site-header-focus-item.header-widget1.header-widget-lstyle-plain { width: 100%; }The grid-template-columns: 430px 43% auto !important; says that my first column always should have a fixed with of 430px, it fit’s to how much space my menu elements take up of the header.
The I added that the search-bar itself should use 43% of what’s left, and the auto-part means that my cart-icon and account-icon can use up what’s left.I don’t think this is what a real web-developer would have done, and it’s not perfect, but for me it worked out ok – and I don’t know how many hours I spent trying to accomplish this, so when something actually looked OK, I went with it..
Good luck 🙂

I see. But I don’t want this feature. I want to add multiple widgets. All the widgets will go up with scrolling but the last one will remain sticky. No need to have it scroll.
For reference you can go to hsupertool dotcom or Blocksy theme sidebar.
*all my previous theme that sidebar I asked for but Kadence one is different and it’s quite unusual. People will scroll my content, not my sidebar.
I hope you will understand it. Thank you.
