    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I enabled the Topbar and add the images on the Topbar Widget Area in Appearance > Widgets on my test website. Upon checking on the frontend, all images are showing – https://share.getcloudapp.com/6qurd2KW.

    Hopefully, this is how you want to do it. If not, kindly send a screenshot of your desired layout so we can better assist you.

    Kind Regards,
    Karla

    Hey,
    1. If you want to delete categories you can do that in your admin under products > categories.
    https://share.getcloudapp.com/BluK9BKO

    There is no built-in way to hide a category in a category widget like you show in your photo. This is not a theme issue this is simply how woocommerce works.

    2. Always post a link with support requests. Always. We can help with custom css if you want a custom style but only if you link to where you want to make a change and explain exactly what color you want it to be. The virtue theme does not include settings to change the add to cart button color in non hover state. However, the hover color will by default be the primary color you set in your theme options > basic styling.

    3. You can’t have pagination on a page using a shortcode. Pagination will appear for archives and not pages by default.

    Hello Carrie,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    I see you added a Custom HTML for that widget, kindly adjust the inline CSS code you have there to:

        display: flex;
        flex-direction: column;
        justify-content: flex-end;
        align-items: center;
        width: auto;
        background: #FFFFFF;
        border: 1px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
        box-shadow: -2px 10px 5px rgb(0 0 0 / 0%);
        border-radius: 10px;
        font-family: SQ Market, SQ Market, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
        margin-right: 10px;

    Here’s a screen recording of how it would show – https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAurNdE0.

    Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Regards,
    Karla

    Hi
    I need help styling the header widget.

    I just added the payment button, and I think extending the width of the box (row) would help it stay inside the box on all devices.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Where would I edit the Call to Action background image as per the demo content?

    Also, I would like to remove the parallax effect. Is there a way to do it? Thank you.

    Hello Yogi,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    “Featured Projects” section.

    1. How to add this section to the homepage?
    You’ll need to add the Portfolio Carousel item to the Enabled row in Theme Options > Home Layout. For more information regarding the home layout of the Virtue Theme, you can refer to this article – http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/theme-options/home-layout/.

    2. How to add images to this section?
    The images that will be shown in this section are the featured images of your Portfolio posts. Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/7Kuone90.

    3. What is the ideal image size i.e. of the square image on the demo homepage under “Featured Projects” (width x height)
    On our demo contents, we used the thumbnail size of 270 x 270px for the featured images. You may use a bigger size, preferably with a square resolution.

    4. If added, can we change the title from “Featured Projects” to “Featured Blogs”
    Yes, you can change that on Theme Options > Home Layout > Home Portfolio Carousel title option – https://share.getcloudapp.com/04u2Rb49.

    5. Can the images link to specific blog pages on our website?
    No, it will be linked to the Portfolio post. If you want to add a carousel of images with an option to set the links, you may use the Custom Carousel instead.

    We presently have over 100 Blog posts. We would like to know how we can divide these Blogs into separate categories so that the user can read the Blog as per the desired category.

    You may want to use a sidebar with the Categories widget so the users can go to different categories easily. For the Blog page, you can refer to the following articles regarding the templates you can use:

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Karla

    Hello and Happy Independence Day Weekend!

    Can you please help me center the search widget in the red row (middle of page).
    I tried this to no avail:
    #panel-1458-2-0-0 .panel-widget-style .form-search{
    align: center;
    }

    I’d also like the widget title text to be white.

    Thank you,
    Carrie

    Hi Laura,

    Thank you for confirming.

    1) We would like to be able to choose multiple brands for filtering at once

    Currently, that is not possible with default WooCommerce filter widgets as well. If you want to use AJAX filtering, you may want to use third-party plugins. On the other hand, I’ll pass this as a feature request as well to see if you can select multiple brands.

    2) There is no option to clear filtering

    If you go to Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Catalog and enable the Add Active Filters to top of Shop? and Show Button to Remove all Filters? options, there should be a remove filter button at the top of the products to reset all current filter values.

    3) Brands filter widget doesn’t apply in Woo’s general filters that shows on the top of the archive

    I can confirm this behavior and I have sent a note regarding this to the development team so they can check further.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Karla

    Hi!

    Product brands filter widget is lacking functionality:

    1) We would like to be able to choose multiple brands for filtering at once
    2) There is no option to clear filtering
    3) Brands filter widget doesn’t apply in Woo’s general filters that shows on the top of the archive

    See two images: first no filter active and in second one brand clicked but no possibility to choose another or clear filterig.

    Without these functions the widget seems unusable. Any suggestion how to move on with filtering brands?

    Thank you.

    Hi Gabs,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    What widgets are you trying to add to your mobile menu/off canvas?

    Here’s a guide to add widgets on mobile off canvas – https://share.getcloudapp.com/p9uA6lGZ. (the image comes from the Hooked Element, refer to the second screen recording)

    If you want to add more, you can use Hooked Elements. Here’s a guide – https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnuxydNy.

    The Hooked Element feature requires the Kadence Pro Plugin – Premium addon for the Kadence Theme.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Chito

    I’m using siteorigin page builder/widgets with the virtue theme and wprocket.

    I keep getting a problem on some page loads the gallery is broken with excessive white space around the images and they end up spread over many rows.

    First image shows the spacing where it’s wrong, then on a refresh it loads correctly as shown in second image.

    It’s difficult for me to troubleshoot as the gallery auto resizes and corrects itself as soon as I open the inspect in browser. Could you give me some pointers about where to look to fix this.

    If it’s a wprocket issue, any clues which scripts/sheets I should exclude>

    Thank you

    Thank you for your reply, and your very detailed instructions.

    I did this –

    downloaded the kadence pro plugin
    installed and activated it
    went to the kadence dashboard
    under Pro Addons, toggled on “Ultimate Menu”
    entered our license key
    created a nav menu “footer menu”
    used a widget to insert it into a footer col
    added icons and saved

    The icons are not showing up 🙁

    Hi,
    While it’s not an intended part of the design you can force this to work using css like this:

    .kt-header-extras ul.sf-menu.sf-menu-normal {
        float: none;
        display: block;
    }
    .kt-header-extras .menu-widget-area-kt {
        display: block;
    }
    .kt-header-extras .sf-menu ul.kad-slider-canvas {
        position: static;
        display: block;
        border: 0;
        min-width: 0;
    }

    Just add in the custom css box in the theme options.

    Also note that you can not load the same slider twice on the page, only once so in your test the second slider will never load because it’s the same as your first.

    The site I recently launched and have multiple Layered Sliders working is http://www.ucjf.org. I actually specify a different slider for each page as you go through the site. But I must point out that I’m simply placing the short code in a Visual Editor widget in a normal row, I’m not trying to use the Header and Second Header Wdidget in this instance.

    Please disregard any reference I made above to https://ulster.netprophet.net as we’ve changed our design slightly and I’m using that platform for the new design rollout.

    As I would like to get to the bottom of this, however, because we still may try to make use of it, I’ve recreated what I was trying to do HERE. I have the Kadence Slider shortcode placed in a Visual Editor widget in both the Header and Secondary Header widget and neither are displaying.

    Sorry for all the confusion, but I’m trying to keep moving on this project as we work through these issues! Please let me know if I can do anything at all to help. I’d be happy to provide you access to the sites.

    Hi Bridget,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Yes, you could add icons on the menu items on footer section. There are two ways you could go about it.

    You could do so by making use of Widgets on the footer. Go to your Customizer > Footer and you can see the footer divided into three rows, similar to how the header is structured. Add a new “Widget” section on the row you wanted. Click the “gear” icon and select “Add a widget”. Look for “Text”, then add the icon image. You can now add your menu item and assign a link to it.

    Here is quick screen recording for your reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/4gunm0pm

    Another way to do it is by making use of “Ultimate Menu”. This is however only available if you have the Pro Addon for Kadence Theme. Create a new menu in Appearance > Menus. Add the menu items and assign the menu icon for each item. You could then add your newly created menu to the footer section. See here for reference: https://www.loom.com/share/b9e460a22de14f2aa1635a4ca1538d8b

    I hope this helps and let us know how we could help you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Michael

    Hello Mike,

    Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!

    I’ve figured out the spacing and getting rid of the margins and padding, but I’m still stuck with my Kadence slideshows now working in the Header and Second Header widgets.
    Glad to know you were able to sort out the spacing for the header. Regarding the kadence slider on header widgets – I can confirm that the slider will not show.

    You mentioned before that “because this is still working just fine on a site I launched just last week albeit a bit differently”. Could we have a URL to the website where the slider is working when used on the header widget?

    On the other hand, I’ll send a note regarding this to the developer to see if it is possible to use a kadence slider within the header widget.

    Kind Regards,
    Karla
