Hi Kadence Team,
Using Virtue Premium: suddenly today in my site’s admin/backend I am unable to access any pages for editing (they are all blank white pages). Also, Widgets under Appearance is a blank white page. The only page I can actually access is one using SiteOrigin Page Builder. Apparently, the rest were not built with that plugin.
I have tried deactivating plugins (and left some deactivated now), changing to default WP theme, etc. to no avail. I’ve even restored the site from a backup that was working a few days ago, but still no luck. I did get a PHP error message a few days ago that the content-product.php template needed to be updated, but even that notification has disappeared although I did not “update” any template (the theme template says @3.6.0 and WP core is now @9.4.0? Another issue…for later anyway).
The front end appears to be working fine, but something is whacked in the admin/backend, and I am at a complete loss as to how to troubleshoot or fix it, or what I might have done to cause it. Please help!

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Kadence Team~
Questions for you:
1. How can I set up a header area with a Search icon on the left, logo centered in the middle, and Login (My Account) plus Mini Cart inline on the right? (as shown in the screenshot attached)If I choose Header Style: Center Logo menus on sides…
“Left menu is the primary menu and right menu is the secondary menu. Header is set with two menus.”
But I need a full regular-type menu/navbar below the logo (as shown in the screenshot), which at the moment, is the primary menu, so the layout I need isn’t going to work with this header style—right? Is this layout done with widgets instead (4th Logo Layout option, called Logo Left Widget Layout)? And if so, what css would I use to center the logo, and put the other elements on either side of the logo (search icon on left, Login + Mini Cart on right), while keeping the “main” navbar in place centered under the logo? I see that at least the navbar stays below the logo with this option, but the logo is far left instead of centered, and I’m not sure how to add the search icon, & login/mini-cart widgets where I want them.
2. How to get a shop notice/banner type line of text (like, “Fall Sale 40% Off”) centered in the topbar?
I don’t want to use the banner image feature (because that feature is an image and not text, and, it also appears below the header)… we just need to keep the text in line with the social icons in the topbar. Possible? Do I need certain css to do this, and if so, can you please provide it?I’ve seen others here on this forum use this layout with Virtue Premium, but I have not (yet) been able to figure out how it was done (I did search for answers here)!
Thanks in advance for your help… much appreciated!

AnonymousOctober 15, 2024 at 10:33 am #291576Hi there,
That depends on what method will be used to integrate forex on your website.
Would it just be a simple HTML code? Or would you also need to add a script library to the theme header?
In order to insert custom scripts, you would need to install Kadence theme PRO and enable the PRO feature Header/Footer Scripts: https://nimb.ws/xTNUe3
Once that is enabled, there will be an option for you to insert custom scripts to the theme by going to Customizer >> Custom Scripts.
But if you are using the free Kadence theme, you can use a 3rd party plugin to add the header code. Try using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers-script/
If it is just an HTML code, you can use the Custom HTML widget on the header.
Let us know if we can assist you further.

Glad to hear you were able to sort this.
Technically, the header and footer work almost the same, even if the footer has an option for number of columns.
The footer has a maximum of 5 columns. If you try to drag and drop the header widgets, you’d see there can be up to 5 columns as well. Here’s a video: https://share.zight.com/NQu9x8zv
Both can also have one column.
Additionally, we will launch the Advanced Header / Navigation block this week, which has the ability to have only one column or more and customize it further. Here’s an example: https://share.zight.com/v1uqLXJx
Please let me know how I can assist further.
Best,
ChitoIn forum: Kadence ThemeOctober 1, 2024 at 11:36 am #291431Hi,
I’ve recently moved my site over to Kadence. Loving it so far, but I have a weird issue.
When I’m logged in, everything looks fine. However, logged out users see the sidebar pushing down the main content, like the body content is rendered after the sidebar. For example:
I’ve resized the sidebar and resized all the widgets in there a couple of times, but to no avail. I’m a bit stuck here, especially since it doesn’t happen when I’m logged in. Any help appreciated.
For context, the URL in the image is *Login to see link but every post and page does this.
Again, any help appreciated.

Hi, JR.
I don’t see the recently viewed products. Could you send me the page where that is?
Font Sizes
The default widget titles use the H3 HTML tag so they follow your theme’s typography settings for H3. You can see those in Theme Options > Typography.Other heading sizes can change depending on the HTML tag used. With WordPress incorporating the Gutenberg block editor in the Widgets page, you will be able to show titles using blocks and they have their block’s font settings that you can control.
Let me know if I can help you further with this.

Hi Andy,
Glad you reached out, happy to help.
To style the desktop Toggle Widget Area popup bar, click on the Settings Cog Icon beside the Toggle Widget Area and then click the DESIGN tab to change the Trigger Colors.
Here is a screencast for your reference:
https://share.zight.com/7KuNPrxOTo further style the popup area, click on the Dashicon (Arrow up and down) beside the Toggle Widget Area and scroll down to see the Popup Area Settings.

Thank you! 2 more things
I am using the Recently Viewed Products List Widget in the sidebar, there is no customization in the widget, I want to NOT show the featured image, so just the link title of the product – can I get a custom CSS for that to put in the theme options – here is the source code of the widget <ul class=”product_list_widget”>
- OR you can look here – https://internetslayers.com
Also, can I get the custom CSS to change font size of all text in widgets in sidebar?
In forum: Membership ForumsTopic: Best solution advice
September 20, 2024 at 9:52 am #291290Hello all. I’m using the Kadence Pro bundle. The site I am building for the company I work for will use WooCommerce like a catalog with a minimalist layout with ‘no add to cart’ and ‘no check out, but will have an Enquire button to pop-up form on the Single Product Layout. On the Enquire form we want to display the [main product image] from woo, and importantly on the email being sent we want the [main product image] to be in the email with title.
Can we use the new Kadence WP form tools with WooCommerce to accomplish this with a mix of shortcodes, html widgets or special elements? The other route I learned about is using Contact Form 7 with the Dynamic Text Extension plugin plus some additional code that seemed like it might be an outdated approach.
Can an expert point me in the right direction to implement this functionality in the best modern way? Thank you for your time!

Thanks for writing in.
I’d be glad to take a closer look at those widgets. Can you please send here the links to the pages where I can see the issue and which widgets as well?
Thanks,
ChitoIn forum: Kadence ThemeSeptember 15, 2024 at 9:30 pm #291229Hey guys! I’ve been using the Kednace theme for a while now, and overall, I’m super impressed with its mobile optimization and clean layout. However, I’ve run into a small issue when trying to customize the widgets on specific pages.
For some reason, when I add custom CSS for certain widgets, the styling doesn’t seem to apply correctly on those pages, although it works fine on the homepage and blog section. Has anyone else experienced something similar with Kednace’s widget styling?
Would appreciate any suggestions or tips on how to resolve this. Here’s my site for reference: *Login to see link

September 5, 2024 at 1:35 am #291099Hi Kenneth,
I can’t replicate the issue on my test website. The sidebar for the single page applies the selected widget whether it is the Sidebar 1 or Sidebar 2.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.zight.com/jku0KQ7r
This issue seems unique to your website.
For initial troubleshooting, please could you do the steps listed in this article https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website? This will help us rule out these usual causes of WordPress issues, so we can move on to investigating other possible causes of this issue on your website.
Can we also have the link to your website so we can investigate?
Please let us know; we’ll be happy to help.

Teejay. In forum: Membership ForumsSeptember 4, 2024 at 4:39 am #291089I’m using the Toggle Widget Area functionality in a header, and there’s an option for three different icons presented. I’d like to use another icon, a specific one. Is there a way I could do this – ideally, with also uploading a custom SVG for that position?
Thank you,
KonradIn forum: Kadence ThemeSeptember 4, 2024 at 12:36 am #291088Hello,
I’m having a problem with the right sidebar. It is not displaying “Sidebar 1” as I have it in the settings.
Here is the Sidebar 1 Widget:
Whether I set the global settings for for Sidebar 1 to display, it doesn’t display. The sidebar area (with a grey background so you can see it), displays, but not Sidebar 1.
This happens on all pages EXCEPT for the archive pages. When I set the global settings on the archive pages to display Sidebar 1, it works.
I have also tried this with individual post page settings… but it still doesn’t display Sidebar 1.
Can you assist?
In forum: Kadence ThemeAugust 28, 2024 at 2:51 pm #290999I’m working on customizing the Kadence theme for my website *Login to see link , and I’m running into a few issues. I’m trying to modify the header layout and customize the color scheme, but the changes don’t seem to be reflecting as expected on the front end. Additionally, I’m having trouble with setting up a sticky header and adjusting widget areas. If anyone has experience with Kadence theme customization or knows how to troubleshoot these issues, I’d greatly appreciate your help!
Thanks a lot!
In forum: Kadence ThemeHi!
I added the account widget to the header, allowing users to log in via a popup. While it functions well on successful logins, it redirects to the default WordPress login page after a failed attempt. It would be great if the failed login error message could appear in the popup itself after a failed login. Is there a way to accomplish this?
Thank you in advance. In forum: Kadence ThemeHi, Johny!
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you here.
While we don’t have a built-in widgets/filters for showing the WooCommerce categories on your sidebar content, you may search and install plugins from wordpress.org.
