I seem to be stuck on how to edit this. Hopefully you can see the images I’ve just uploaded. This now appears inside a Block: [siteorigin_widget class=”kad_imgmenu_widget”][/siteorigin_widget]
I’d like to either edit this or come up with a good way to replicate/recreate it so I can modify the contents.
Hi, I must be missing something, but I was just wondering how I can center widgets in the top bar? There is an option for Right Side, Left Side, and None. Any ideas?

I used your button extra shortcode for a widget-Visual Editor. There is a outlined box showing up inside the button. What is that?
Here’s the code:
<!– wp:kadence/advancedheading {“level”:1,”uniqueID”:”_3b7825-c5″,”align”:”center”,”color”:”#a30003″,”typography”:”\u0022Lucida Console\u0022, Monaco, monospace”,”fontWeight”:”bold”,”anchor”:””} –>

Hi Paul,
There isn’t a default option within the SiteOrigin Post Carousel widget to make this one column. You can likely achieve this with some css. Can you post a link?
Just to note, the post grid/carousel block within Kadence Blocks Pro allows for a single column carousel. http://themes.kadencethemes.com/ascend-premium-10/post-grid-carousel/

Hey Hannah, thanks for your feedback and info.
Just to clarify, the visual editor widget gove me a visual/text option. When typing in this widget I can move between visual and text right as it’s not the same as moving between editors?
Thanks,
Hey,
1. You need a plugin for this.
2. If you want the visual editor widget then you need to keep this plugin. If you don’t use this plugin then it’s not needed.
3. The theme forms and Kadence Blocks forms don’t come with all the functionalities that those plugins do, but it certainly will let you create a custom form and add reCaptcha.
Hope that’s helpful!
Hannah
Hey,
This has to do with the background you are setting as part of the site origin widget area.
You can add this css:
.virtue_split_content_widget .row {
margin-left: 0;
margin-right: 0;
}
Ben
Hi,
I created a background image for my footer and enlarged it with the following CSS code:
#containerfooter .container .footercol1 {
height: 450px;
}
Problem: my widgets are aligned at the top, and I want them to be at the bottom.
How can I change this?
Thanks for your help.
Yes, sorry. Your Split Content widget settings. Are you having any other issues with the display of images/widgets?

I am having the worst time adding my social links. All that’s showing up is a square with no icon on the footer. Can somebody kindly help?
I added the social widget to the footer, but nothing’s happening…it shouldn’t be this hard.
Thank You,
Actually, not to be a complete PITA, but is there a way to move the Menu and the Header Widget above it to the right? There appears to be some additional padding or margin on the right side of the page as opposed to the left, made more apparent by the horizontal line I have drawn underneath.
This is a rare site where I’m following someone else’s design so I’m pretty confident they’re going to ask me about this.
ok, I see, your using the layout builder in the widget area, I switched to the last option and enabled this cs:
@media (min-width: 1024px){
.kad-center-header.kt-header-flex-item {
float: right;
margin-top: 45px;
}
.kad-header-flex.kad-header-height {
display: block;
}
.kad-left-header.kt-header-flex-item {
float: left;
}
.kad-right-header.kt-header-flex-item {
float: right;
clear: right;
}
.kad-far-right-header.kt-header-flex-item {
display: none;
}
}
Hello,
When fullscreen the virtue split content widget looks clean as the alignment of images and text boxes of rows aren’t noticable.
However, when reducing the screen size to that of a mobile, the split content stacks with images above the text.
My issue: the individual widgets when stacked are not the same width. I find my images are wider than the text boxes resulting in a messy look.
Please advise on how to ensure these are aligned.
note: I did try finding a solution within the forums and couldn’t see something that fitted my question.
Ps. I have the latest theme and wordpress versions.
Kind regards,
-

How do I add a background color to a custom html widget box?
With reference to: #248403
On mobile – I have an image in the footer of this site ab-design.dk in the center of the footer. It is a layout builder with 3 editors where the image won’t align left though have this code from you:
@media (max-width: 780px){
.footer-widget.widget .siteorigin-widget-tinymce.textwidget p, .footer-widget.widget .siteorigin-widget-tinymce.textwidget h5 {
text-align:left !important;
}
}
Can you help?
Thanks – Susanne
Hey,
1. You can enable these from Theme Options > Mobile Header > Mobile Header Extras.
2. This css will force your desktop menu to show on mobile:
.kt-header-position-above, .second-nav-container {
display: block;
}
And this will hide your mobile menu:
#kad-mobile-banner {
display: none;
height: 0;
}
3. Looks like that’s pulling from your sidebar? You can adjust the sidebar content from Appearance > Widgets.
Hope that helps!
Hannah
It pulls from your body text. Or you can use css like this:
.textwidget p {
font-size: 15px;
font-family: sans-serif;
}

Hi Team,
Is it possible to centre the topbar widget for the Ascend Theme, please?
We’ve tried a few things, including the CSS we got for centring the topbar menu, to no avail.
Would you please provide the CSS to centre this ‘Call us today..” for our client dev site, below:
