    Hello Support team!

I’ve tried all the blog post shortcodes on this front page, but I can’t find the best solution:

Widgets ‘KIEMELT AJÁNLATAINK’ and ‘LEGFRISSEBB HÍREINK’.

Shortcodes are ‘mosaic’ type. My problem is that mosaic type distorts the image. And the homepage owner is editing the blog posts, but they don’t care image size and resolution.

I’d like to have 3 or 4 blog posts here, same resolution boxes, without distorting the images, and only the post title should be seen(so grid type is not an option).

    What do you advise?

    Thanks,
    Anita

    Hey there,

I’m using Origin page builder and have 2 columns in a row. In the left column I have an image but it doesn’t stretch it on small tablets. It works fine on laptop, desktop and mobile. I’ve tried to fix this by either adding image widget and adding image as background to widget and setting as cover with padding. No matter what I do I can’t get rid of white space top and bottom of image. What am I doing wrong?
    Thank you.

How do I disable autoplay for the carousel image slider? I’m using one as a widget on a portfolio post.

    Thanks.

    Hey,
You can’t pull in queries from another site within any native widgets. I believe this plugin can do that: https://wordpress.org/plugins/network-posts-extended/
I’ve not ever used it though.

Otherwise, you would have to use an RSS feed (don’t copy into the sites just display the feed) or code something custom that uses code to select which network blog to pull from.

    I hope that helps,

    Ben

    hello there,

Could you please advise how i could choose a staff category as a menu item? I would like to have it as an sidebar menu (widget)- so displaying a single staff member I could directly go back to the staff grid page… (I hope I do make sense here ;o))
Also displaying a selected staff member, the post image is displayed but very close to the text (css)?

    Thanks for helping out,
    regards Michael

    Hi,

I am having an issue with the icon list and the colours for the table layout when on stripes.

The site I am working on has the latest virtue theme and all the Blocks plugins are updated as well

    Icon List:
    1. For some reason the text alignment icons are not showing i.e. where to show the icon in the line of text – top, middle or bottom?
    2. If I set the icon list to be center width (so no text floats to the side of the column) then the text is center aligned and I would like it left.

    Tables with striped setting.
    1. The background in the backend is white but when I look at the front of the website it is a grey so the lines are not as distinguished.
    2. Again for some reason the colour selection is not showing – what colour the stripes should be? I have had those appear before?

Finally, is there anyway we can use Blocks in the Widgets area?? I am finding that I have to install Page Builder to create modals in the sidebars. This then confuses the pages sometimes when a new page is created it will be created as a page builder rather than the blocks. I would rather not have page builder installed at all now that I have the hang of the blocks I am loving them!

    Links to the website below.

    Thanks, Mel

    Hi guys,

For some reasons, the sidebar on my site has disappeared. I’ve checked the theme options, page settings, to make sure the sidebar was well set and then I’ve even checked my widget area and everything seemed alright.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards,
    Dorcas

I have a multi-site set up using Virtue Premium. I have also activated Site Origin widgets. The multi-site exists so that each location for the business can have its own site. I would like to display a blog carousel at the bottom of each of the location home pages. However, neither the virtue carousel or the site origin carousel will allow me to pull the blog from the main site – only the location-site. I have been using RSS feed to copy blogs from the main site to the location sites, but I am concerned that the duplicate content may be hurting optimization. Is there a way to force the individual location sites (i.e. onerestore.com/ocala/) to pull from the main blog (onerestore.com/blog)?

Try using the theme shortcode: [kad_youtube url="video url"] You can paste that into a text widget. Or, you can add a visual editor widget and access the shortcode from the Virtue Shortcodes tab.
    Would this work for you?

    Hey,
You can edit/remove this from Appearance > Widgets > Footer Column 4.
    Hope that helps!

We would like the above footer widget container to fill the screen width but this does not seem possible using the Layout Builder. What CSS should we add please?

    #234153

*sorry, missed your reply Ben. Big thanks considering this.

I suppose an “Ideal world” wish list of such additional options (specifically to the “Ascend: Image Menu item” widgets for SiteOrigin) would be:

    1. Option to toggle/reverse the behaviour of these (Default: Full colour image / Hover state: Colour tint, Caption(s) – AND VICE VERSA
    2. Option to choose specific colour tint (on a widget-by-widget basis) [less necessary that one but would be a “nice to have”!]
    3. Option to choose strength of colour tint/opacity (again on widget-by-widget basis)

Thanks again for considering any such ideas for this already v. useful widget!

    Hey Richard,
There isn’t a way to add this into your home slider, only your header widget area but I’m not sure that will give you the look you’re after. My suggestion is to use the home widget area to add a row with a background image and then add the testimonials widget to the row.
Navigate to Appearance > Widgets and add a Layout Builder widget to your home widget area. Then add a full-width single column row and add the virtue testimonial carousel widget to the row. Then from Theme Options > Home Layout enable the home widget area.
    Hope this is helpful!

OK… I have the testimonials working… right now, I have it in the top bar… see https://www.capsfundingllc.com… however, I originally said I wanted the testimonials to display in the images on the top of the home page… Hannah seemed to think that they would. With this plugin, can I get the testimonials to display “in” the images at the top of my home page?

Another question… right now I have the testimonials in the top bar of my home page. In the widget area, there is an option to display testimonials in the “Home Widget Area”… I tried doing this, but the testimonials disappeared totally. Can I display testimonials in this “Home Widget Area”? If I can, how do I do it? And, where exactly is this “Home Widget Area”? What will this website look like if I do this?

    #234128

    Hey,
    First, let’s check this.

Go to theme options > theme extensions. Can you make sure “testimonial posts” are enabled?

If they are not, enabled then save and reload. If they are then you should see “testimonails” as a main menu option in the sidebar admin menu of your website.

Similar to how posts or pages are a main menu in your site.

You can go to testimonials and create new, there adding a new testimonial post. For each on added those can show in your widget.

You can see a grid example here: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/testimonials/

If you are using Kadence Blocks and the WordPress Block editor you may find it easier to work with the testimonial block that comes with Kadence BLocks. Examples here: https://www.kadenceblocks.com/testimonial-block/

Let me know if that helps,
    Ben

Hey, it appears your sidebar is missing common classes. That likly means you are using a widget area that is not meant for a sidebar. Can you make sure you are using a widget area that the theme creates? You can create extra widget areas in your theme options > misc settings.

    Hi
Is there anyway to add some distance between widgets in a sidebar – see this page for an example of where I’d like to improve the layout

    #234105

Yes, I have the premium theme and I have the Virtue Testimonial Carousel Plugin installed in Home Widgets… but how do I work this plugin? Kadence is usually good at providing directions, but I can’t find the directions. Do you know where they are at?

Also, when installed and working, what should my website look like? Do you have a link to a picture or to a website that is using it?

    Hi
I use the navigation menu in my sidebar widgets a lot. Is there a way to format these menus to match the font size/color etc of the main menus?
    site is jccmw.org
