In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: I am lost.
For your first carousel, you can use the custom carousel from Theme Options > Home Layout. Then for your carousel with products, you can enable either the on sale products, best selling products, or featured products from Theme Options > Home Layout. Or you can use a shortcode to add products to your homepage. You could just paste the shortcode into a text widget within your home widget area in Appearance > Widgets. You can find a full list of woocommerce shortcodes here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
Hope that’s helpful!Hannah

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Virtue: Split Content not recognized in Yoast
August 21, 2019 at 12:39 pm #234017Hey,
Unfortunately, this isn’t specific to that widget in site origin, anything but the text editor widgets are not added into the Yoast readability. This is because site origin page builder exports all but the text editor widgets as shortcodes to the content editor and yoast can’t read the output shortcodes. If you use the Gutenberg editor and Kadence Blocks then yoast can pick up the content of the Split content Block.

August 19, 2019 at 2:01 pm #233847In your sidebar, can you tell me what widget is after the recent posts widget. Your page is crashing there, which is causing all the styling and page break.

In forum: Membership ForumsHi Ben,
Thank you very much for your reactivity and support!
It seems to work. However, after the plugin update it seems necessary to clear the client-side cache to update your javascript file and make the cookie lifetime fix working.
Could you please update the file version when registering script, ver=103 or 1.0.3 instead of ver=100:
<script type=’text/javascript’ src=’https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/plugins/kadence-widget-dock/assets/js/kt-widget-dock-min.js?ver=100‘></script>Thanks in advance and have a nice end of day.
Kind Regards,
SylvainIn forum: Ascend ThemeHi again-
Since my post I’ve managed to dig out the CSS needed here to make this happen. HOWEVER please still consider this as an actual control panel option, as I feel it would be a great development option for the “Image Menu” widgets on Ascend (which are great already but this additional toggle would make them even better, IMHO!
Thanks for considering it,
John
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Pinnacle “widget in header”
Hi,
I searched old topics and find out it is possible to move topbar items over header with css in Pinnacle because there´s no widget area on header.
I would like to have social media icons with links in header next to menu hamburger.
You can see the site here: *Login to see link
Possible? In forum: Ascend ThemeSo here I’d like the blue tinted outcome to be the default and then (on hover) the text fade away – and the full colour image replace the tinted on.
I just wondered if there’s a quick way this reversal could be done/achieved – without me having to delve deep into the theme’s CSS file(s)!
Also.. it would be a fantastic option to have for these widgets (e.g. a tickbox to reverse the state of them??) – what do you think?
In forum: Ascend ThemeHi there.
I’m finding myself working with the “Ascend: Image Menu Item” widgets a lot. Really useful.
Stylistically, however I’d ideally MUCH prefer if they worked in the opposite way!
i.e. by default you typically see the image (no tint or overlay or text) THEN on hover, you get the text (1x or 2x lots depending on which boxes have been filled in etc.) – and the colour tint.
Seeing as the Users ideally need to KNOW what is being linked to (before hovering, or clicking) I think it would work really well if the effects here were reversed – so what is currently standard becomes hover and vice-versa.
Here are two as an example.
Hello KT-Team,
It’s all in the title.
I have the impression that the lifetime of the cookie created is still 30 days despite a lower setting. I just double-checked on a fresh installation of WordPress.
Could you please check on your side?
Would it be possible to improve the cookie’s lifetime option by offering to choose between minutes, hours or days?
In order to allow a delay of reappearance of the widget dock between 1 minute and 120 days?To get around this I am currently creating my own cookie with a lifetime in minutes when closing the window.
Thank you in advance and have a nice day.
Kind Regards,

Hello there,
Maybe you had found the solution in the meantime, but there is an option to select some post ids (so pages, posts, products…) for which to display the dock widget: “Choose basis for Target pages: Show only on” then “These custom ids:” and insert your product ids.
I’m a little surprised by the answers because this option already existed when this topic was created (unless I didn’t understand the question correctly…).
@Ben: Too bad you don’t have enough time to keep evolving this great plugin. I’m sure that this would be of interest to many of customers, me too 😉!Kind Regards,

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: mega menu on mobile
August 16, 2019 at 2:11 pm #233609Hey,
1. Add<br>to the text where you want a line break if that gets sanitized in your widget then you will need to contact the widget creators for a possible workaround.
2. I’m not sure what plugin you are suing. But most have options for this. It’s best to contact the plugin authors. However a workaround you can use is this custom css:
@media (max-width: 991px){ .widget_maxmegamenu { display: none; } }Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: mega menu on mobile
Hi-I’m using a mega menu in the header widget. I have 2 issues:
1. I have a longish title, whihc I put into the top button with a link to #. The longish title is:
MY BENEFITS
Link to your company’s benefits pageand the only way I could style this into 2 lines was with 2 custom links. This isn’t ideal. Is there a way to get both lines of text into the button?
2. I don’t want the hamburger for this menu on mobile, but I do want it for the menu underneath (secondary menu) on mobile.
Is there a way to do this?

August 16, 2019 at 10:21 am #233573Hey,
Are all your variations the same price? All with the same sale price? becuase then the price widget would output that price, it’s only when your variations are different than the price widget wouldn’t show that because it isn’t calculated by woocommerce until a variation selection is made.Ben

I just logged in using the info you previously provided. Looks like you are using the basic with shrink for sticky header. Unfortunately, you cannot use that and the header widget area. There would not be enough room in the widget area when the header shrinks.
