You can use pagebuilder which basically makes the whole area a widget area.

or add a gallery through the add media button, click on the text tab so you can see the gallery shortcode and add type=”carousel” to the shortcode.

if you click the virtue shortcode button you can add a divider. That is probably what you looking for, if your in a widget area use the visual editor widget.

Hi Ben,

I am checking this in locally, that is why I thought about screen shot.

When I used the widget area the same happens.

Let say I need to have these social media as icon menu and the text (call me on 02250110 | [email protected]) in the topbar widget area.

How can I do that using the widgets? I used the visual editor for the txt + the social media widget and the appeared like the social media is above the text, while I need them to be in the same line.

The tabs are not set up with way. But can be if you hack into the system, you have to have the latest version of the theme for this to work.

Step on is to add this script in a text widget in one of the footer widget areas:

Set to open the page that has your tabs and change the [tabs] shortcode to [tabs id="1"]

Now if you link to the page and want the second tab to open the url would be:

http://myurl.com/mypage/#sctab11

and if you wanted the third tab to open it would be:

http://myurl.com/mypage/#sctab12

and the fourth would be:

http://myurl.com/mypage/#sctab13

In the theme options > main settings. Logo layout, choose the last option which adds a widget area beside the logo.

Hey, It’s done with the info box widget. You can create a page, click on the pagebuilder tab, and click the prebuilt layout button in the top left corner of the pagebuilder area. Then choose example home and it will build that page so you can see how it’s done.

When you updated were all your widgets in the inactive area? You had to move back to the widget areas you wanted or where they just gone? Neither of these things should happen, i’m just trying to brainstorm why either would. It’s weird.

Ben, I’ve been into set-up as you suggested, when I first installed the plugin – I have been in and rechecked several times – I’ve chosen networks and position and text etc. Since your suggestions that something might be conflicting with it I have deleted shareaholic, which was already installed but deactivated. I’ve deleted the facebook like box that I had installed on the front page and still nothing appears. The plugins I have activated are

I also have Virtue / Pinnacle ToolKit Version 2.1 but its not activated and when I tried to activate I got a message I got a fatal errorcode – I don’t know if it should be activated? or if its relevant?

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare portfolio_post_init() (previously declared in /home/joafra3/houndsconnect.co.uk/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/lib/post-types.php:6) in /home/joafra3/houndsconnect.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/virtue-toolkit/post-types.php on line 58”

There is a ‘sharing’ option in settings, from an app called Publicize,, but that doesn’t appear to be associated with a plugin so assumed it was part of wordpress

Does any of that help identify how I can resolve?

Hey, something like this can only be displayed through a widget. Although there are many different places to put a widget. You can put it in the topbar, sidebar, header, footer, home widget area, or anywhere on a page through page builder. If you’re wanting it to appear on the side I would suggest adding this widget to a sidebar and adding that to your pages.

So the topbar is above the menu area, It’s supposed to be above the logo.

There isn’t a widget area that would force this widget into the header beside your menu, especially as your menu is the full width of the page and there is no space there to put a widget.
Maybe I’m confused. You want the logo and menu to move left for a widget area? That would make your menu and logo off center?

maybe you can send a screen shot with where you want to place the flags?

I also had to add in “Appearance > Widgets” the “Search” widget in the “Header Widget Area”.

I turned On all options and magically appear. Next i turned off “enable the widget area in the right topbar?” and topbar sidebar appear… I did not think do disable the entire sidebar.

I just went into your theme options > topbar settings. Turn on the option to make the widget area and there you go.

I know that the topbar is active but it doesn’t look like you’ve activated the topbar bar widget area in the theme options > topbar settings.
