    Well I feel silly. I found a solution & in case it’s the correct one I’ll leave it here for people to see. If there is a better way to do this by all means let me know.

    .kad-topbar-flex-item.kad-topbar-widget-area {
        display: flex;
        grid-column-gap: 20px;
    }

    I added in grid-column-gap and it’s spaced them out fine now.

    I’ve got the topbar set to show in my theme. I’ve enabled the topbar widget area to the right. I’ve added in 3 widgets (Social Icons, Text, Opening Hours). I’ve been able to get them to display in a line instead of on top of each other by using:

    .kad-topbar-flex-item.kad-topbar-widget-area {
    display: flex;
    }

    But they are sitting against each other. What do I need to add to the CSS to add some space between the widgets in the topbar? I’ve tried various margins, padding, etc but I’m not having any results that I’m looking for so I assume I’m touching the wrong parts.

    Hey,
    The dimensions vary from screen size to screen size. The widget area takes up about 66% of the header length. Your image should scale down when added to fill the space.
    If using the simple mobile header it will hide the widget area on mobile. Or you can use css to hide it.

    Topic: Header widget

    #227111

    Good morning!

    I want to add header widget. What is the area dimensions if I want to us an image for the area? Is it possible not to show it on mobile?

    Thank you!

    Hey thank for your kind support using Ascend premium… It’s an awesome theme.

    I have 3 issues (last ones) that I was hoping for some help with:

    1) Mobile logo size doesn’t seem to increase regardless of what the Mobile Logo width is set as.
    2) Mobile Top Icon Bar Widget Area. Is there a way I can resize the social media icons when using the Social Links widget?
    3) I’m using youtube pro to display youtube playlist. The issue is that there is never even spacing between the top and bottom. The only thing I could think of was wrapping the youtube playlist in a fixed height div but this is not responsive. Is there anyway I can achieve this please?

    Thank you so much!

    Hey,
    1. You can add your image into the page content of your home page or through the home widget area instead of using slider. In your theme options > home layout you can set the order for how you want your home page to appear. And in fact, the whole home page can be created in just the content using a page builder or Gutenberg editor.

    2. It’s possible, you just have to hide the title with css. So for example:

    .page-header h1 {display: none;}

    .page-header .page-bread-container {
        margin: 0;
        float: none;
    }

    3. Where do you want them to be larger? Where do you have them outputing? If you want # in the text you have to make that the tag, so update your tag label from tag to #tag for example.

    In Theme Options > Topbar Settings set “Use Topbar Icon Menu?” to “On” then add your social icons to the Topbar Icon Menu. Then set “Enable widget area in right of Topbar?” to “On” an also turn on “Topbar Layout Switch”. Then navigate to Appearance > Widgets and add your number to a text widget in your topbar widget area.
    Hope that helps!

    Hey,
    Looks like you’re using the simple mobile header. That does not allow for a header widget area. If you wanted to keep the phone number in mobile you would just need to turn this feature off (theme options > mobile header).
    Hope that helps!

    Hey!

    2. I did not mean “header widget” I meant “home widget area”. If you go to theme options > home layout there is a layout manager, there you need to move “home widget area” to disabled, currently, you have it enabled even though it’s empty.

    Thanks Ben, that plugin worked beautifully.

    Follow-on question that I think may require some CSS. I’m using the topbar on this site for navigation as you may have seen. Is there a way to force the Second Widget Area to display below the topbar region when I using a transparent header?

    #226269

    Hey,
    1. When I view your code there is invalid output try copying this from the forums and pasting:

    #pg-5-2.panel-has-style  {
      background-image:linear-gradient(to right, rgba(255,0,0,0), rgba(255,0,0,1));
    }

    2. In your theme options > home layout move “home widget area” to disabled.

    3. You can set the row to fullwidth stretched and that will make the content stretch the width of the screen.

    In the Product Information area of the theme while editing with Elementor:

    A ‘template widget’ by itself in a section, does not show up on the product page. See

    If I add an image widget (or any other widget) in another section below the section containing the ‘template widget’ … then … they will both show up. See

    I do not know if this is an Elementor problem or a problem with the way that Elementor interfaces with my theme.

    What do you think? What can i do about this?

    #226213

    Is there a way, through the magic of CSS, to display the Second Widget Area in the header on the home page only? Perhaps I should tell you what I’m trying to do and you’ll have a different approach.

    I want to embed the Calendar Wiz upcoming events widget over the slideshow in the transparent header on the home page, but I only want it to appear on that home page. I know I can add different elements to the slideshow itself, but I don’t think an HTML snippet is one of those things.

    The site is HERE.

    Thoughts? Thanks!!

    the server responded with a status of 403

    403 is a forbidden error which means the server is preventing the ajax save, this means something on the server is not set up correctly and flipping a security block. I suspected it had to do with the script you have in your theme options > header and footer scripts. So I removed it and sure enough, the theme options work.

    Meaning your server is preventing the saving of the script to your database because of some incorrect security setting.

    Now because of that, I can’t save the script back into the theme options, or anywhere on your site for that matter, won’t save in a text widget. So here is the script you have have a record of it. You need to contact your host and just using a text widget in a footer widget area show the host that it won’t work, because you are using a text widget and nothing relating to a theme or plugin then they can’t try and tell you it’s a theme or plugin problem (it’s not).

    <script type="text/javascript">
      jQuery(document).ready(function(){
      if (window.location.pathname.indexOf('checkout/order-received/') != -1) {
            var transId = jQuery('.order_details .order:contains("Order") strong').text().replace(/[^0-9]/g,'');
            var totVal = jQuery('.total .woocommerce-Price-amount.amount').text().replace(/[^0-9.]/g,'');
            var shipping;
            if(jQuery('th:contains("Shipping")').siblings().find('span.amount').length == 0)
            {
                shipping = 0;
            }
            else
            {
                shipping  = jQuery('th:contains("Shipping")').siblings().find('span.amount').attr("data-price");
            }

        ga('require', 'ecommerce');
        ga('ecommerce:addTransaction', {
          'id': transId, // Transaction ID. Required.
          'affiliation': 'albox', // Affiliation or store name.
          'revenue': parseFloat(totVal), // Grand Total.
          'shipping': shipping, // Shipping.
          'tax': 0 // Tax.
        });
        jQuery('.order_item').each(function() {
          ga('ecommerce:addItem', {
            'id': transId, // Transaction ID. Required.
            'name': jQuery(this).find('.product-name a').text(), // Product name. Required.
            'price': parseFloat(jQuery(this).find('.product-total span.amount').text().replace(/[^0-9.]/g,'')), // Unit price.
            'quantity': parseInt(jQuery(this).find('.product-quantity').text().replace(/[^0-9]/g,'')) // Quantity.
          });
        });
        ga('ecommerce:send');
      }
    });

    </script>

    Topic: font colors

    #225737

    I’m finding it quite confusing to try and get font colors set properly. There are many places to set font colors, and no documentation as to precisely how various settings are used.
    (1) Theme Options vs. Appearance, Customize – do these set the same underlying values (to the degree that they make the same settings visible)?
    (2) Basic Styling: Where do these 4 settings get used, and when are they overridden by other settings?
    (3) Is there documentation of ALL the places font colors can be set, and which ones take precedence over others?
    (4) I have a button in the footer colummn 4 widget area using HTML from Constant Contact. In Appearance, Widgets or Appearance, Customize, Widgets the button preview reflects the color settings used in the HTML. But what shows on the displayed page is not the same. What am I missing?

    In general, it would be really helpful to me to have more documentation of the meaning/effect of the settings available with the theme, perhaps organized by effect – something like: * for font sizes, go to xxx; for font colors go to xxx, yyy, zzz; for background colors go to xxx, etc.

    I suggest asking ultimate member support, they should have a widget or shortcode you can add to the header widget area that would output a login you can style similar to what you want. And I’m pretty sure they would facilitate the redirect to member pages.

    Hey,
    In your theme options drag the header widget areas up and down so they are first and last, that will make sure they separated to either side.
