In reply to: Kadence Slider Pro for the Header!
OK I see now. In Theme Options > Main Settings > Logo Options choose the last logo layout with the widget area. Then navigate to Appearance > Widgets and add a text widget to your header widget area. Then add your kadence slider shortcode to that widget. Does that work for you?

September 14, 2018 at 12:09 pm #201448Hey,
It’s not an option to add html into the title areas of an image menu item widget.I suppose you could use a shortcode and pull this off:
[img_menu height="600" image_url="http://www.bymmotor.eus/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/TALLER-1.jpg" title="400 m2 de instalaciones con la última tecnología en maquinaria y herramienta" link="http://www.bymmotor.eus/#instalaciones" align="center" valign="center"]Please in the future use the correct theme forums: https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/forum/ascend-theme/

So I’ve enabled the mobile top icon bar widget area. Then in widgets, when I add a button to the topbar widget area nothing displays in the top bar. It looks like the mobile topbar area isn’t pulling from the topbar widget are. Is there somewhere I should be adding this to get it to appear?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Ascend ThemeI’m doing something different for me, creating a site that will use the same header across all pages, no special header or slideshow on the home page. I’ve created a header using a photo as the logo and the header widget area for the business tagline and address. I’d like each to occupy 50% of the header but stretch the entire width of whatever screen it’s displaying on, and that’s where I’m running into problems. I can’t seem to make that happen no how.
The site is HERE.
As always, thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hello Kevin,
Finally, I resolved it with your help and inputs. Thanks a lot.
The main problem was that I kept the option enabled that says, “Show widget in topbar” under Topbar Settings. I had nothing in the Topbar Widget area but it was stopping the search bar language settings.I really appreciate your help and time here. Have a great time.
Cheers!Regards,

Hi Kevin,
Yes, I see where those widgets are, but my understanding was if I deleted them it would impact all of the site.
To put it simply, I want to create my own custom template. One that includes the header area, nav menu, and footer of the demo content them that I am using.
http://www.beautifyinternational.com
As you can see, I am taking my design cues from the Ascend them demo content. Which is great for most pages, but for the contact page and maybe some others, I would like the freedom to use Elementor but keep the consistency of the header, nav menu, and footer seen in the default theme pages.

The map and contact form are added with page builder to the contact page’s content.
The above footer widgets are set in Appearance> Widgets, under “Above Footer Widget Area.”
"Likewise, is there a way to start from scratch and create a standard template using the demo theme’s header and footer and menu?"I’m not really sure what you mean by that. Can you explain more
