    I have a visual editor (only some text) in Home Widget Area which is placed on my Homepage using Homepage Layout Manager.
    But when I edit other pages, that content appear on the Homepage where the content of Home Widget Area is supposed to be.
    I have to go to Appearance>Widgets and re-save the Home Widget Area and the content of the Visual Editor comes back on my Homepage.
    For example, when I edit product description on product page, suddenly my homepage shows that product description instead of the Home Widget Area content.
    How can I fix this problem?
    Thanks!

    I think page builder is going to be your best bet for what you’re wanting. You can create rows and give them background colors and set the row layout to fullwidth stretched. You can either set your homepage as a static page, or you can use a Layout Builder widget within the Home Widget Area (Theme Options > Home Layout). Then you can add Virtue: Info Box widgets to the row (Appearance > Widgets).
    See here- https://www.kadencewp.com/using-page-builder-virtue-premium/
    Hope that helps!

    Hey,

    1. Ok to be clear child themes see here: https://www.kadencewp.com/child-themes/
    If you don’t know coding then you would need to hire someone to do this and add extra fields.

    2. In your apperance > menus page you can add categories to the menu by clicking “screen options” in the top right corner and adding categories.

    3. What version of IE?

    4(1). Theme options > language settings.
    5(2). ^ same.
    6(3). That would require you edit the plugin woocommerce. You would have to edit their file directly to change text like that.
    7(4). You can add text in a text widget using the topbar widget area… enabled in your theme options > topbar settings.

    8(1). I don’t have a recommendation for this. Might be worth asking woocommerce.
    9(2). For that you would need a shipping system that handled labels or did all your shipping through a third party system like ship station. That isn’t something I can recommend, to many variables you need to see what makes the most sense for you at a price you’re willing to pay. There are manual entry optijons through:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/aftership-woocommerce-tracking/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/yith-woocommerce-order-tracking/
    10(3). I’ve used this: https://www.woothemes.com/products/smart-coupons/
    I’ve not used any of the other cheaper ones that do similar things.

    You can set the background of your header widget area with this css:

    .headerclass .kad-info-box.kad-info-box-15.clearfix {
        background: transparent !important;
    }

    Does that work for you?

    In your widget area you added a info box widget. That has a background set to white. Just make that background transparent by adding “transparent” for the background color.

    Hey,
    So I assume your not wanting to standardize the images to any certain ratio?
    You’ve uploaded some images with large blank areas… example the top area of this: http://www.climateshield.us/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/awning.png

    Here is some css that will make them all line up though maybe this is what you’re thinking:

    #pl-598 .sow-image-container {
        min-height: 340px;
        text-align: center;
        display: table;
        table-layout: fixed;
        width: 100%;
    }
    #pl-598 .sow-image-container a {
        min-height: 340px;
        display: table-cell;
        vertical-align: middle;
        width: 100%;
    }
    #pl-598 .sow-image-container a img {
        margin: 0 auto;
    }
    #pl-598 .textwidget {
        min-height: 90px;
    }

    Hi,
    as you can see that at the right top corner the social media widget ( used in the header widget area) there is a white space padding or margin going around it, as you can see the water mark at the background ( header back ground) is not 100% visible only 75% of the water mark is visible. can you please advice me how to get rid of the white space around the social media widget or make it transparent so the back ground water mark will be totally visible. thank you in advance for your support.

    .widget-3.home-widget-area-widget .g_item {
        width: 50%;
        float: left;
    }
    .widget-3.home-widget-area-widget .g_item:last-child {
        width: 100%;
        float: none;

    Hi Hannah!
    I’ve already inserted one widget above the content. I’ve registered it through functions.php and inserted it to archive-product.php
    Particularly this element “div.yith-ajaxsearchform-container” is on http://obuvmart.ru/shop/ above the content.
    Now I have one additional widget area on http://obuvmart.ru/wp-admin/widgets.php
    Is it correct?
    What next if it is?

    Hey Stephanie,
    So what you can do is use a shortcode like this: [product_categories number="4" columns="4" parent="0"]
    Just paste it in a text widget (appearance > widgets) within your home widget area. And ensure you have home widget area enabled in the homepage layout manager (theme options > home layout).
    Hope that helps!

    Hi,
    Is it possible to remove the white area with the shadow and curved corners directly below images in the Custom Carousel in Home Layout?

    I’d like to display some images which act as links and the custom carousel works great for this in every way, but I don’t want any title/description beneath them, just the image alone. However, if I don’t put in any text it leaves a blank white area with a curved shadow underneath each image which I’d like to remove.

    Can this be done with custom CSS, or do I need to use a different sort of carousel?

    Hi,
    I’ve built my homepage using the widgets in Theme Options –> Home Layout but I can’t work out how to control the amount of blank space between the various widgets.

    In Homepage Layout Manager I have enabled:
    – Custom Carousel (added several images as slides)
    – Page Content (just a few lines of plain text)
    – Image Menu (3 rows of 3 slides, set to Height = 140)
    – Home Widget Area (which has a ‘Visual Editor’ widget with a few paragraphs of plain text, using the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget, Then a ‘Pinnacle:Recent Posts’ widget and a couple of ‘Pinnacle:Image Menu’ widgets)

    There’s no custom CSS, I haven’t changed any HTML surrounding the plain text in the editor, and I haven’t used SiteOrigin PageBuilder on this page. There are also no blank slides in the Custom Carousel or Image Menu that might throw out the spacing.

    I’d like to reduce the amount of blank space above and below the Image Menu widget in particular, as it seems too much to me. I think this might be div.home-padding.home-margin (trying to guess using the Inspect Element in Firefox)

    I’d also like to reduce the space around Page Content (might be div.homecontent.clearfix.home-margin).

    And then within the Home Widget Area a big chunk of space gets inserted around the Visual Editor widget, yet the space between Pinnacle:Recent Posts and the Pinnacle:Image Menu widgets is nice and tight, but I can’t work out what div this might be.

    Is there a way to adjust these spacings with some custom CSS?

    Sure you can use a plugin to add a contact form into a widget area. Here is an example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/

    Hi,
    as you can see on my website the social media widget i have placed at the right herded widget area but when i enter the phone icon with (virtue info box) i cant align it with the left header widget ,as you can see its appear in the left( as i intended) but its always lower than the right social media widget ( as you can see its not align even on the page social media icons at the right hight and the mobile phone icon on the left bit lower)

    can you please tell me what to do and if possible do i have to write css code for this? cause all i wanted to do is appear the mobile icon on the left most corner of the header widget area with the same height alignment as social media icons.
    thank you.

    Hey Jenny,
    I’m seeing all the images in your slider display fullwidth. Have you tried clearing your cache?
    What other images are you trying to make fullwidth? I would suggest using page builder and setting the row layout to fullwidth stretched. You can do this either by setting your homepage as a static page or using the home widget area and adding a layout builder widget.
    Hope that helps!

    3. I would also like to align the titles (search, recent posts, categories, menu etc.) in my sidebar widgets area to be centred if possible.

    4. And centre the items underneath them (recent posts, categories, menu).

    5. Can I change the padding between these titles and their item, e.g making the “search” title and the search box closer together like the instagram one above?

    6. Can we remove the icons under “recent posts” in the sidebar?

    7. And also make the search bar full width of the sidebar.

    Thank you!
