2 Shortcodes in one line

Hi,
I wanted to know how to use 2 Shortcodes in one line:
On my way I´m using a plugin called: popuppress, where I can use the lightbox of a pdf:
usually I tried to use the shortcode 2 times: [popuppress id=”1971″] [popuppress id=”1972″]
after that I tried it with p and span tags
<p><span>[popuppress id=”1971″]</span><span>[popuppress id=”1972″]</span></p>
Do you have any ideas?
