A very general question – Post Attached Images

A lot of sites I look after have been drifting towards having a lot of unattached images as these are often uploaded in bulk via the media library.
Does anyone know if the Kadence theme(or other Kadence plugin) make use of attached images… if not then I won’t nned to worry about trying to attach them. (other than for housekeeping)
