Add custom graphic to Primary Menu

I’ve created a primary menu in my Pinnacle theme, but for one of the selections I’d like to use a little graphic I created instead of the text name of the page. I have HOME, CONTACT, DONATE, MEMBERS, JOIN, but I’d like to replace the word JOIN with a button graphic I have. Can this be done?
This is the first time I’m using Pinnacle, I almost always use Virtue, so I’m wondering if the answer would be the same or similar for the Virtue theme.
