Add left/right padding to full-width stretched

Hello,
I’m using the full-width stretched option in pagebuilder to stretch my text across the page, but I’d like to adjust the padding on the left and right. When I add left and right padding in the row settings, nothing happens. I can add padding around the entire text widget, but I don’t want space on top and below. Any suggestions?
