add to cart button hides

I am running virtue-premier 2.1.4 and woocommerce current version 2.5.2 and after updating all conflicting pages I am having an issue with the add to cart button hiding itself on the checkout page single product: here is an example, hit refresh and you will see the button hide itself: *Login to see link
this only happens when their are variable products. I had to change the /single-product/add to cart/variable.php due to variables not showing up with the woocommerce update. How do I get the variables to show, or just get the add to cart button to work with quantity. Help!!!
