Ascend Premium – Where to Set Menu Background Color?

Hi –
Am I missing something obvious? Just trying to locate where to set the main menu background color. In this demo site <*Login to see link the menu background is orange with white separator lines. I see only options for setting backgrounds on individual menu items (active and hover), but not the whole menu. Nor do I see where I can turn separation lines on or off (or set their color).
Is this all custom CSS in the demo site? I can do custom CSS myself, but kinda thought what I’m seeing in the demo sites is stuff a person can do by just choosing theme options.
