Blog post display by date mixed up

Hi,
I am working on *Login to see link for my client, and the posts page is properly set up, but not displaying the bog posts in order by date. They are showing up from various years in the first five slots. The posts are in the “blog” category, which was selected when setting up the page. I am on the latest version of the theme.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
