Blog post – post carousel height

Hi again!
1. I would like to have the post carousel height (at the bottom of individual blog posts) be the same for all the posts. Do you have any code for this?
2. I have a request for an update: can you add an email list opt-in checkbox in the comment form at the bottom of each post? And perhaps the option to include a line of text, like “your email address is safe with us blah blah…”.
