Blog Posts: Pixilated Photos + too much space

Hi Y’all,
Most of my blog posts consist of a picture and then text below. Two issues:
1) The photos look pixilated in the blog posts.
2) There is a lot of space between the Site Title and the image and between the image and the corresponding text. I’d like to “tighten” everything up.
I should mention that most of the content is pushed in through Instgrate (plugin that pulls Instagram posts into the blog), however, I should be able to manipulate the post after it arrives from Instagram, right?
