Blog Summary Shortcode – 3 Columns?

I am wondering if it’s possible to use the Virtue shortcode [blog_posts items=”2″ orderby=”date” cat=”content”] to also allow for three columns (on the same line horizontally) of blog summaries and not two, which it seems to default to. Is this possible?
