Blurry Gallery images

Hi,
I’m getting blurry gallery images. Can you help please.
I know some of the photos are not great but there seems to be a distinct difference between the displayed gallery image and the image when displayed using lightbox.
Also when resizing my browser the images become ‘tangled’ if that makes sense.
