Button height, Would like to make them the same

On my home page we have set the carousel buttons (“Add to Cart” and “Select Options” to the same height.
On the product pages the “Add to Cart” and “Select Options” buttons are different heights.
Example: *Login to see link
When I add this CSS it fixes the product pages but the carousel page buttons are no longer the same height.
.product-type-variable.product_item .kad_add_to_cart{
line-height: 40px;
}
I have gone through my css and can’t find where I am going wrong.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
