Can I hide "Page Header Default Background" for mobile visitors?

I’m sure there is a solution and I just can’t find it….:
I’ve got a nice, big picture as a “Home Slider” for Desktop/Laptop visitors and a smaller version as a “Home Mobile Slider”. It looks better and I assume load speed will be positively effected as well. Nice feature! Thanks guys!

What do i do about the “Page Title / Page Header Default Background”?
Looks nice to have one on the big Monitor, but I assume ist just slowing down the mobile visitors load-time….?
(and looks a bit of a mess on the phone if it looks nice on the desktop and vice versa. Not to mention, that in my case less content in that area would make mobile easier to navigate.)

Is there a way to just switch off the “Page Header Default Background” for mobile visitors?
Or alternative a a separate, smaller version for them?

I’m sure I not the first one who is stumped by this and am just not finding the ready made solution in the template (somewhere)….

Help would be appreciated!
