Cannot update via WP – manual file please?

Hi there,
I have a problem with updating from virtue premium 2.8.7 to 2.8.9 with WP 4.1:
It says
The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.
Enabling Maintenance mode…
Updating Theme Virtue – Premium (1/1)

… bu nothing happens for ages. When I originally installed the theme, I had a similar Problem (I got an Internal Server Error 500 or so). So I installed the theme manually and everything worked fine since then.
In another post Ben suggested downloading the current theme version from *Login to see link but there I still get 2.8.7

a) Could you please send me a download link to 2.8.9?
b) How do I install this manually without losing content?

BTW My site is gitarrenunterricht-zu-hause.de (which right now can’t be reached because of the maintanence mode that tries to update).
