Can't update theme

Hi everybody!
I am having problems updating both plugins and the Pinnacle theme for months on three websites with one specific provider. I have tried asking them but they can’t help me.
When I try to update plugins or the theme, I get the error which states that the old files couldn’t be removed and therefore the installation failed. I checked my file rights and they are all oke. I also checked the error log but not sure what to do with that information. I will copy that in a private post for Ben.
Furthermore not sure what to do know, I have to install everything by downloading and uploading it myself.
Hopefully someone knows!
