Catalog Mode + Enquiry Button/Form

My client wants to sell one-off bespoke furniture items, but doesn’t want to use the shopping cart functionality to sell through the site. Instead, they would rather use Woocommerce to structure the products as intended, but on the single product page they would like to replace the ‘Add to Basket’ button with a ‘Sales Enquiry’ type button that emails the owner about that specific item.

1) Is it possible to enable ‘Catalog Mode’ with this theme to completely disable the cart functionality? If not, is there a recommended plugin that works well with Virtue Premium?

2) Is it possible to replace the ‘Add to Basket’ button with a ‘Sales Enquiry’ type button or even an on-page ‘Enquiry Form’ with this theme?

I’ve not been able to see anything within the Theme Options to allow me to do this. Any advice on the best approach would be appreciated (plugin or editing the child theme script).
