Category Ordering (simple parent / child)

Hi to all. Maybe silly question but we’d like to show to our customers, all the products on a category ordering them by parent/ child hierarchy.
So if I have 10 items in the main category and 5 items in child category we’d like to show the 10 products of parent category and then the 5 items of the child category independently by the name order.
Is it possible?
Right now we have setup the website in this way:
Category Display >> Show products
Default Product Sorting >> Default sorting (custom ordering + name)
