changes to custom css lost!

Hi,
Last night I was making a bunch of changes to custom css and saving periodically. This morning one of those isn’t showing and I go into custom css box and there’s only one line there.
The weird thing is that SOME of the changes I was making last night are STILL showing, maybe because of caching on my host? (Godaddy Managed WordPress hosting)
How does this happen??? Where can I recover all the changes I was making last night? in what file does Virtue save the changes to custom css?
Another glitch I noticed is that I repeatedly removed the Kadence Themes credit from my footer, saved, it would disappear, and then kept getting put back in
Help!
