Column in a pre-existing Column

Is there a way to do a Column inside of a Column? …or the like?
on this page, in the first accordion pane, I would like to have it divide with one side as a picture (possibly a slider) and the other as text.
I tried the short code again, but I think it confused the initial Column code.
