Good Day,
I am planning on duplicating a page on our previous website that contained abstracts for numerous (>500) scientific articles with links to the PubMed citations for those articles. I thought that a simple way to do this was to create a blog page that displays posts of a specific category. My only hurdle is that I need the article abstracts to display in date order BUT I may need to enter them in a more random order. I thought I could create a custom post field maybe called “article date” and then enter that data using a consistent format like yyyy/mm. Is there a way to make the blog page sort the posts using my custom field?

Here is a quick link to what I am trying to do, but the oder of these articles is the order I entered them rather that the order that I want.

Thanks
Mike
