Customizing Image Menu

Hello, I am using the Image Menu on the homepage of the site, but want to write the Title or link name on top of the image and a bigger caption on the bottom. Instead of all the writing coming out over the image. How can I customize to be able to do this.
the home page is: *Login to see link
For example, the biker image, to have text on top for the title and a caption of text underneath.
