Dark Overlay over Ascend Gallery Carousel different image ratios.

Hi
I’m nor sure if it’s possible.In some post I’m using Ascend Gallery with carousel different image ratios to have a slider showing 10-30 thumbnail size images .Is it possible from the start have a dark transparent overlay on all images with a text like ‘unlock’ or a logo and have a custom link on the overlay?
