Default contact form in Ascend Premium?

Greetings – In the Ascend premium theme there is a default short code on the contact page [kt_contact_form ] but there is no place (that I can find to edit this form) In the Ascend premium documentation it states that “Unlike Virtue or Pinnacle Themes, Ascend does not include a contact page template. However, adding a contact form through shortcode is simple” Because the short code is now on the contact page and there is a template on the newest version of Ascend, is the documentation here not accurate? Is it possible to access the settings of the existing short code or do I need delete that and input the ContactForm 7 short code which I can then adjust? thanks very much
