Double slashes in portfolio permalink

Hello,

I add a new portfolio item through “Portfolio > Add New”.
I do not use any portfolio custom options.
I name the item “Example”.
Then following permalink is provided :

When I try to view the portfolio item, I get a 404 error.

Any time I try to add a new portfolio item, it does the same : double slash is inserted after “index.php” in the permalink.

This only happens for portfolio items.

Can you help me in removing those double slashes in the portfolio permalinks?
