Duplicate Site for Development

So we finally launched our site update last night, yay! I changed urls and copied the site to a different folder on our server and all went flawlessly. What we would like to do is keep our original development site live so that we can test new features, colors, etc. My question is how do I change the url on the development site back to what it was before?

When I try to go to the admin page for that url (inthesilo.com/dev), it redirects to the admin page for the site on my main url (wagic.com) and any changes I make affect that site.

Help!
