error loading page

I recently upgraded from v3.5 to 3.8.6 and I encountered an error when accessing the home page. Strangely, if i go into wp-admin mode, the page loads corrctly.
The error I get is:
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/sandre7/public_html/touchwoodproducts.co.uk/dir/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/lib/template_hooks/page.php on line 47
Not Found
Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.

It looks like this was the result of either:

a mistyped address
an out-of-date link

I am using winxp service pack 3 and my website is: touchwoodproducts.couk/dir
