Featured Products on Home Layout

Hello first timer here 🙂 So my website is http://www.canelogallery.com for the life of me I am having a hard time figuring out how to add content to the “Featured Products” section on the Home layout. I know for the items on sale you simply put a sale price on the products page and that adds the sale content. The other question I have is the large images on my homepage; yes I know you’re laughing,… I figured out to resize the window. The image; however, I resize it in the media screen and nope– it gets bigger! Is there a magic “Fit to screen” option I’m overlooking? Thanks Ben Gonzalez
