Filtering Portfolio Items

Just a clarification question: I take it by reading this thread (*Login to see link and particularly Magnus’ questions, that it is not possible to create a page using Virtue P that that would have a filtering system for portfolio types and/or tags in which a user could pick multiple types and/or tags at once, and have the resulting portfolio items be automatically filtered by those types or tags. Is that right?
