Font Colour in Footer Widgets Text input areas

Hi – My footer area is a dark background with white text. However, the text input areas for the search bar and email signup widget are dark background with black text. I would like to change the text to white and I can’t find a setting that controls this. Would you be able to help with the appropriate css code please?
