Footer text (copyright etc) and footer menu not displaying

Hi, I have created several sites with Virtue Premium with no problem but having prob with newest site. Under menu structure, menu settings the Mainmenu I have created is set for Primary, Mobile and Footer. The colours for primary menu font are contrasting to the footer background. Under Misc settings, Footer copyright text (Copyright 2015 etc) is entered.
Nothing at all is displaying in the footer apart from footer background colour.
Help anyone?
