Hello!

I’m using a lot your nice shortcode option
[gallery type=slider ids="XXX,XXX,XXXX"]

I like it (more than jetpack’s [gallery type=slideshow]) because it displays captions nicely and you can click on the image to have it full size.

Yet, there is a puzzling and annoying feature : by default, it displays 960px x 337px images.. resulting in cropping most of the time.

Three questions :

Can’t you make it more adaptative like jetpack’s [gallery type=slideshow] ? I mean, respecting width x height ratio?
If not, is it possible to change the default 960px x 337px ratio? My images are mostly 1500 × 1000 ..
Lastly, I have to edit the shortcode in the text window every time I’m using this feature.. Wouldn’t it be possible to affect it to the dropdown menu upon creating a gallery. Currently it offers ‘diaporama’ (in french), but that results in a [gallery type=slideshow]. See capture below

Thx a lot!

Have a nice WE!

Laurent
