Gateway 504 Errors

Can you tell me if there are any known issues with Gateway 504 Errors on Kadence Slider 2.2.8
I have been having a slew of 504 Errors on theme updates and the slider update and have been beating up my host but thought I should just check in case there is a know issue. The errors mostly relate to Kadence Slider, Virtue Theme and Ascend Theme
