Gradient in Advanced Slider

Hello!
For my hero section, I want to use a slider that shows different texts & images layered on top of an also changing background image with a gradient. The row layout block offers everything I need in terms of background, but it doesn’t allow for changing first layer content. The advanced slider block offers the first layer options I need, but doesn’t allow for gradient in the background.
I searched for this but couldn’t find a solution yet. Is there any way to solve this?
